Good morning everyone I just joined the Boneyard Family. Long time follower and supporter of Womens Athletics including coaching various teams in the past.
My post refers to how injuries have impacted the Championship total. I know it’s “spilt milk” but I think 3or4 more. What do you all think?

I think Megan Walker leaving early was also detrimental to boththe player and UConn. It took a long time to get the starting lineup "caught up."

I was going back to 2000. I know injuries are a part of being an Athlete but not all injuries cost teams Championships the way the hurt UConn. I’m retired so maybe I’ll do some research about all types of teams since 2000.

I’d say injuries have cost more than just UConn titles since 2000 but 2001 was the year I will always believe would been a win with Shea and Sveta. I feel the same way about 2005 Tenn if Parker, Spencer, Wiley-Gatewood, and Fuller had been healthy
