What are you binge watching?

So...watch everything up to the season finale?
I'm still undecided on it. Felt like it could develop into something good at times, but then other times it seemed to me either. You will see there's one episode where they realize they're on cable and decide to add sex scenes. They kind of spread that out a a bit over the season rather than lumping it into one episode, but it's a choice. At the end of the first season, there is one pretty good twist and one gratuitous one.

I shrug and give it neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down

This was actually pretty good. I enjoyed it and I am looking forward to next season.
Should've been better, but definitely worth the watch. Some good ideas and production, but I found myself yelling at the characters to do something else that seemed obvious on a number of occasions. I like the Cobb character.

My wife and I just kept saying "This poor guy. What else can happen to him?"

The set-up for a next season looks decent.

On a whim started watching a series on Tubi. "Savage River." Australian drama from a few years ago. Stars Katherine Langford, I've seen her in a few things (always playing an American), but don't know any of the rest of the cast. In this she was just released from prison after about 10 years for killing her best friend. She returns to her small town, where everybody hates her other than her twin brother. Watched 2 episodes, I think there are only 5. Decent so far.

Task on HBO. Great show. After that I will watch season 3 of Alice in Borderland on Netflix.

And it is not a binge. But I am watching season 4 of Industry too.

Wonder Man

After three episodes, I'm not real sure whether the show is really good or really bad, but it's something. This is a new Marvel series. Wonder man is a high maintenance actor wannabe who gets the lead role of Wonder Man. At the same time, he is developing new superpowers.

This show is getting great reviews, but I'm still on the fence.

I've been catching up on 'It: Welcome to Derry'. I want to see it through to completion but good Lord is it gonna be a struggle.

Bad writing, lousy plot, mediocre actors. And perhaps worst of all scripting roles for preteens that impossibly give then psychological attributes of adults.

Can't say this is the first time I've been disappointed with a King adaptation but this is well and truly one of the worst.....and I don't imagine it was cheap to produce, either.

Do not waste your time. What an embarrassment. Then again maybe I should have expected this when I realized Steven Krajewski did not receive an EP credit; so he was not involved in the writer's room.
thanks for the warning. I just watched Castle Rock on Netflix - couldn't get through to the end, just cold turkeyed it in the middle.

.-.
Just binged season 3 of ‘The Gilded Age”. Quite enjoyable. Great scenery of both 1880s New York and also Newport. I thought the character development was also excellent. They give you people to root for and against. That Julian Fellowes sure can write drama.

I almost always finish even if watching feels like a chore. I felt that way about season 1 of Fallout.
