What are you binge watching?

Just binged season 2 of “The Head”. Moronic comes to mind.

I'm now through 3 episodes and I feel like it's missing something. There's no character development or individual "story" worth following. You have people that just met someone 4 days ago, crying hysterically (and phony) when someone gets kicked out. Or people who are just flat out greedy. The challenges are entertaining, but I couldn't care less who wins right now.
 
Been watching the animated Harley Quinn series. Not one where I can just watch it for hours and hours, but several episodes in a sitting. I think for something based on a comic book character that is irreverent and profane, I prefer it to the Deadpool movies.

I think some (maybe a lot) of that is that we're over the initial shock of the concept. I thought it was OK. I liked some of the new characters. But when I got to the end of Ep7, I was expecting to roll right into Ep8. Was surprised that was it. I guess season 3 is simply the 2nd half of this version of the games.

Started off pretty good.......Kerri Russell really inhabits the role. Turned into a slog episodes 4-5 and is picking up again in #6. Let's see how this ends.

'Penguin' is absolutely fantastic.

I also enjoyed 'Obliterated' on NFLX along with 'The Brothers Sun', which I was disappointed to learn neither were renewed.

Are you referring to Season One or Season Two? I watched the first season when it first came out and remember enjoying it, but I haven't felt motivated to jump into the second season yet and have been wondering if it was worthwhile.

I thought season 2 was actually better.
 
I am a fan of The Agency on Paramount+ through episode 3. This is a big budget show, and putting a little more money into a show can make a big difference in the quality of actors, look and feel. Michael Fassbender is excellent in the lead. The plot is a little hard to follow, although I think that is deliberate because it feels like there is going to be a reveal about one of the operations.

1923 is actually kind of good, the first season is basically two shows. Montana and Africa. Looking forward to the second season.
Bass Reeves-I didn't finish it, The first episode is good though.

Finished the first season and the second season is just coming out. I really like Harrison Ford but I feel like they just inserted him for his name. It is really just like the Indian Jones character plays a Montana Rancher. He's one of those actors who is very popular because of his personality and not really his acting ability. Brandon Sklenar does a great job as Spencer Dutton and the rest of the cast does very well.

Watched the entire season on vacation with my wife & 2 others. Split verdict. I went in with low expectations and it surpassed them. Others thought it sucked. There were a couple episodes where they were introducing the new players that REALLY dragged on, but the beginning & ending of the season were pretty decent. Too bad that one guy got killed in the beginning -- he was a good character.

As for the ending, this was just one of those seasons that got split in half. Wasn't a complete arc.

Separately, I had convinced myself that Severance S2 would never come close to the heights of S1, especially that last episode -- which was literally one of the best 10 episodes of TV I've ever seen. But the reviews are in, and people think it's fantastic.

It's good, not great. Amazing cast, very watchable. But it's just a B, not an A.

The Day of the Jackal was a better watch, even if it's cornier. It's just more exciting.
 
Watched the first episode of "Peacemaker" a while ago. Was so underwhelmed I almost didn't return to it. But watched a couple more and it is growing on me.
 
Folks have mentioned the show, Evil, on here before. For those that don't have Paramount, Season 3 of Evil was recently added to Netflix. Season 4 is available on Paramount and I'm guessing will be on Netflix at some point. Good, not great, show that has some decently tense moments.

Pretty good so far. Definitely a show for grownups in that there are lots of shades of gray.

Watched this on Paramount Plus and is a different show than you guys watched.
6 episodes and included the points you say the other show missed.
I didn't know much about this incident but man it was really messed up. This show portrays the Branch Davidians in a fairly favorable light so I am curious about the accuracy of what was really going on behind the scenes. Many reports talk about child abuse but this show doesn't go into that. It does cover polygamy and the young ages of the wives.

I can't believe this standoff lasted 51 days and required so many federal personnel. The ending is particularly tragic as many women and children died. I'd be interested in other shows or documentaries which cover this.

Basically pre-internet, so the public view of it was far more limited than it would be if it happened today.

I really liked it, personally. We binged it over a week or two, so that may have helped with the pace. Watched it before we started Yellowstone, so to me it really sets the stage for what people sacrificed to get there.
 
Landman: On episode 9 and it’s running low on gas.

Silo: sad but this show became a total snorefest for me.

Six Feet Under finale made me cry uncontrollably. I loved that show.
