After an episode or two, you won't even hear it anymore.Gabrielle Anwar is lovely but listening to her butcher an Irish accent isn’t great

The show did leave me wishing it was on cable for um...reasonsAfter an episode or two, you won't even hear it anymore.
Check out the sitcom "I'm Sorry". Absolutely hilarious. She's a wife and mom, her husband is the guy who was "Shades" in "That Thing You Do" and their friend is Raffi from "The League". Raunchy humor, only 2-3 seasons. I think COVID killed it but really, really funny.(how have I never heard of Andrea Savage?)
Thank you for that. And you forgot to mention one of my favorite comedic actresses, Judy Greer, is her best friend! Can't believe I've never heard of this gem. Just finished "Asscubes" which may be the funniest half hour of TV ever. Tom Everett Scott deserves an Emmy just for not losing it in every scene.Check out the sitcom "I'm Sorry". That’s exactly how my wife feels. The time shifting makes it more confusing, I think especially coming from the movies because the “now“ time is already distant history.I really want to like Dune Prophecy, and some of the scenes are pretty cool and the acting is solid for the most part, but I have no idea what is happening most of the time.
Just finished “The Day of Jackal”. Thought it was excellent.
I'm now through 3 episodes and I feel like it's missing something. There's no character development or individual "story" worth following. You have people that just met someone 4 days ago, crying hysterically (and phony) when someone gets kicked out. Or people who are just flat out greedy. The challenges are entertaining, but I couldn't care less who wins right now.Watched the first two episodes of Beast Games, the real life Squid Games type competition. Well worth checking out if that’s your sort of thing.
I think some (maybe a lot) of that is that we're over the initial shock of the concept. I thought it was OK. I liked some of the new characters. But when I got to the end of Ep7, I was expecting to roll right into Ep8. Was surprised that was it. I guess season 3 is simply the 2nd half of this version of the games.Squid games season 2 is not as good as season 1.
Are you referring to Season One or Season Two? I watched the first season when it first came out and remember enjoying it, but I haven't felt motivated to jump into the second season yet and have been wondering if it was worthwhile.'The Diplomat'
Started off pretty good.......Kerri Russell really inhabits the role. Turned into a slog episodes 4-5 and is picking up again in #6. Let's see how this ends.
'Penguin' is absolutely fantastic.
I also enjoyed 'Obliterated' on NFLX along with 'The Brothers Sun', which I was disappointed to learn neither were renewed.
I thought season 2 was actually better. Are you referring to Season One or Season Two? I watched the first season when it first came out and remember enjoying it, but I haven't felt motivated to jump into the second season yet and have been wondering if it was worthwhile.
We are on Season 2 ep 2I thought season 2 was actually better.
1923Sheridan is a mixed bag for me. Sicario, Wind River and Hell or High Water are great films. The rest.... meh
Yellowstone started out really good and now it's just a country music video for idiot rubes with lots of product placement.
1883 was ok
Tulsa King is stupid
1923 is actually kind of good, the first season is basically two shows. Montana and Africa. Looking forward to the second season.
Bass Reeves-I didn't finish it, The first episode is good though.
Lioness is actually really entertaining

I am a fan of The Agency on Paramount+ through episode 3. This is a big budget show, and putting a little more money into a show can make a big difference in the quality of actors, look and feel. Michael Fassbender is excellent in the lead. The plot is a little hard to follow, although I think that is deliberate because it feels like there is going to be a reveal about one of the operations.
