2.99 a month for two months thru Amazon Prime seems worth it. There’s also Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown.
Tulsa King is really quite good. I think the currently running Star Trek Discovery show is pretty good too. Not a must watch, but solid.

Say Nothing. On FX (Hulu). This is a true story (although there’s a disclaimer in each episode) of certain key characters during The Troubles in Belfast and elsewhere in N. Ireland starting in the late 60s. The focal character is Dolours Price, played by Lola Petticrew in the past and Maxine Peake at the time of interviews Dolours gave leading to the book and this series. Dolours and her sister Marian (Hazel Doupe), also a key character, were really the first active field “soldiers” for the Provisional IRA. The other main players are IRA leaders Brendan “Dark” Hughes and Gerry Adams (who disputes ever having that role). Just a really, really well made and directed show. Gripping.

Been enjoying Day of the Jackal. I was concerned about Redmayne being the lead as TBOMK he's never played a true evil baddie, but he's been great. Lashana Lynch as the agent responsible for catching him is also fantastic. Nice to also see Ursula Corbero as the Jackal' wife, who was one of the main stars of Money Heist, and now speaks decent English.

Yeah watched it in a few days. Had actually read the book about 5 or so years ago but forgot a lot of what happened. I feel like Gerry Adams pretending he never was in the IRA is just a huge joke at this point and maybe what the film was trying to say by saying it every episode. There is a youtube documentary on Dolours Price i'd recommend called " I Dolours" that gives a bit more background on the lead up to her joining in the IRA that I appreciated. The series was very good though.

I am into season 3 and I am really enjoying this adventure. When I first posted about Lost I was only on episode 8 or 9, I didn't realize each season was so long.

The cast is very entertaining. There are some downsides but the adventure keeps rolling along. Some of the deaths don't make much sense but I'm letting the story play out.

Sawyer with his nicknames is probably my 2nd favorite, behind Kate of course. "Advice is free, Murgatroyd," he says to Munson in jail.

Lost
OK, I FINALLY finished this show. If you haven't seen it, you may not want to read this. I am not giving away any spoilers really, but this is my opinion. I'm glad I sat through it, but I wouldn't consider it Great.
  • My wife told me it was good for a few seasons and then was tough to watch for a few seasons. exactly.
  • I've been watching every night. I got hooked in. I loved the characters, especially the ladies, I'm not gonna lie. I thought the acting was very good all around and really got to know the characters
  • The time travel got to be a little too confusing. I want to relax and enjoy and try to figure things out, but I felt like I had to try too hard here. That led me to just want to get to the end of the show as soon as possible
  • Ben - that character was both intriguing and annoying. I still don't know why they kept him around so long
  • The Ending - I don't know. I'll read some more online. I'm not sure I understand it

Oh good. Discovered that the other day. Liked the movie and book, so was intrigued.

Just finished episode 3 of Landman. It just gets better.
Binged the first three last night. I'm into it. The stuff with the daughter is a bit weird, but I find all the oil buisness stuff/culture to be quite intersting. Started listening to the podcast "Boomtown", which is what inspired the show.
