He is not going anywhere, give that up. The only way he goes if he leaves on his own after this year. The team is improving, but hard to say after this disaster of turnovers, and big plays.
The last two weeks before this game gave me hope and I will keep it as I see some players on this team. Ross, Drayton, Mensah, Medlock, Coyle, Jones and Jones. There are others but those are players to build off of for the future.

We hung in it for a while. Thought they fought hard in the 1st half but the miscues just broke their will, especially that 1st & goal botch. 2nd half we had nothing - it became the typical weekly highlight reel for the opposition. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Cold and depressing night.

Jack Zergiotis is missing plays with rushed throws. Does this get better with time? Is is because he is a freshman? The missed chance before the half to have it be 28-17 going into the half was brutal on the fans and the team. That is two straight home games where the goal line execution and in some ways the play calling was abysmal when the game was still at a within reach.
Other teams are blowing up our run game with a DE or LB coming off the backside edge unblocked and hitting our backs before they hit the line of scrimmage. Why hasn't the staff been able to correct this?
We heard about the Navy pass rush pregame and seemed to have no plan to block their edge rush blitzers. Still Jack Zergiotis has some time on plays but the receivers did not adjust their routes to get open. He looks downfield when under pressure which is better than Pindel who always took off but there was a couple times he should have run.
The defense had trouble as expected. We had one Corner who did not want to tackle that resulted in a long run after catch. On the skinny post TD that Corner in man coverage just gave what looked to be a terrible effort.

I thought the same on the big chunk plays, there were guys just zoned out going through the motions. There are some guys busting their rear ends and others just deflating and losing intensity the minute things didn’t go their way. The false starts in the late 3rd and 4th are prime examples in Navy territory. I mean what the hell. Stay focused. The 74 yard chunked to their slow white TE who outran our safety and DBs for 70 yards. The missed tackles with guys clearly shying away from contact. LBs just totally out to lunch nowhere to be found. Navy should not be a a good football team, but manage to compete with “lesser” athletes all day long through better discipline, execution, sustained intensity, and scheme.

You can change eveything but if you keep Edsall nothing will really change, he's a loser.

UMass was:
1. Taking care of an abysmal team we're supposed to beat
2. A chance to just get that winning feeling regardless of who it was against.

If anyone took it as a sign of improvement from previous weeks or a turning of the corner that's on them.

Why do you keep bashing the athletic department and the administration? The problem isn't them, the problem is with the head coach. The AD and the school have done a great job with upgrading facilities in several sports, getting a good independent football schedule for next year, hiring a new basketball coach.

They don’t support football, bungled conference realignment (I know previous administration and AD), and made the horrendous decision to join the big east. Other than that I’m a huge fan.

Want proof? Look at SMU. For the past 5 or 6 years, they have had strong recruiting classes. Look at them now? You are not building a program in 2 years. You say year 3? I do not. Because year one started well after the recruiting season was done.

Joining the Big East was a good move. Once it became apparent we could put together a better football schedule as an Indy it became a great move. When I saw we are getting a $1,000,000 payday game from poor old UCF, who will be making less than us, it became a massive slam dunk.
