What about this lineup for now?

I realize the portal as it is now didn't quite exist in 1994, but didn't Brian Fair plan to transfer and then came back?

Yes - good memory.

He actually told JC and announced that he was going to transfer for his senior year. (Likely Arizona State.)

JC kinda said something to the effect that he was not disappointed in Fair, but he was disappointed in his decision because he thought he should have stuck it out and stayed at UConn.

And, eventually, he did.

According to EvanMiya, they are the close to the exact same player when added to a team of average D1 players.
He's awesome. I watched a bunch of him this season. His stats are crazy good, same with his advanced stats, and he has the big game/clutch gene. The eye test shows he's awesome as do his numbers.

Yep, you can say the same about Silas too 🙂

Castle, McNeeley, and Mullins were all one and done types who were brought in to start day one and were ready to start day one. I don't trust Landrew is ready for that on a team with intentions of winning the whole thing. He's had a major rise in the rankings the past year but he's still ranked #22 overall and the #8 small forward in what is considered a historically weak freshman class, I would pump the brakes a little bit. For reference Castle was the #9 ranked recruit overall and the #2 combo guard, McNeeley was #10 overall and the #2 small forward, Mullins #12 overall and the #2 shooting guard. There was lottery pick hype for all three of them before stepping on the UConn campus.
Landrew could always play tightend for the football team.
