What other schools do you think will be going after him?
Do you think these schools will offer more money than us?Schools we view as beneath us, but the rest of the world doesn’t.
By the way, the Tubby Smith example ain’t even close. Yes both won championships in their first years with other guys’ player. But in the other 9 years Tubby went to the NCAA tourney 9 times with a six sweet 16s and 4 Elite 8s. Ollie 1 time with an 2nd round exit. That is what earned him 10 years at Kentucky. Ollie should never be mentioned in the same sentence with Tubby.
WE ARE NEW YORK’S TEAM!
Says someone who doesn't have a job in the real world.Get your irrational optimism out of here, it’s honestly sad watching you create an alternate reality because you can’t handle the real world.
Nobody on WFAN's ever spent 5 minutes talking about Rutgers, for whatever that's worth. (Nothing.)
A lot of those terms describe WFAN post-Francesa. That’s a bleak lineup they are sitting on.
When Evan Roberts is your best host - yikes.
Yep that's me, Mr. optimism.Get your irrational optimism out of here, it’s honestly sad watching you create an alternate reality because you can’t handle the real world.
WFAN is unlistenable now. It’s a hot mess. Boomer can’t carry by himself...afternoon francesa replacements are uninteresting and over their head. Took it off the presets in the car as there is absolutely no reason to return.

Still have no idea if he's a UConn fan or not, but he definitely tweets about them a lot. I thought he was a fan, but going through his tweets he's been negative about UConn even when they were good. And his immediate reaction to the Jalen Adams Cincy shot was that the refs made a mistake and the shot shouldn't have counted. And plenty of predictions that have not been rightI'm like 99% sure Moore is a UConn fan. I have heard him talk UConn hoops before.
Neither program won a title two years after hire, one year after post season ban. Whether you like it or not, that buys a coach significant leeway.
For contrast at a similar program, Tubby Smith's title at UK bought him 10 years.
If you want to get technical about it sure they have. Mike and Chris ‘coached’ the Rutgers spring game and when Carlin was producing M&M while doing RU play by play the Scarlet Knights came up plenty.
Wrong week to say that after they beat Duke and Villanova. And he ended his rant with "Just like St. John's and New York City hoops." [But with more championships].
Actually it gives you a bit of cover when you take over a program. Facilities, recruiting area, tradition... UConn is a sleeping giant. We just need the next hire to be good one.Is anyone willing to go on record and state why they think this isn’t indicative of a perception gap between us and the rest of the CBB community?
I’m sure the Dan Hurleys of the world are jumping to take over programs described in that light by the national media.
HowWe can turn this around.
A Reset.How

FAN is a joke. Boston radio is much better IMO
What I'll say is this, either there is talent there or Mullin coached his tail off in those games. Us on the other hand have gotten curb stomped so many times and haven't come close to winning our similar type games this year. Both the talent and the coaching seem lacking at the moment. Can you be 0-9 in the BE and relevant though? And remember, this isn't the first time SJ beat a top ranked Duke team.
Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!!A Reset.
On balance, I think it is more than less indicative of the dispassionate view, and that this board represents the emotionally invested view, which necessarily includes self-centered fears of losing what we've had in the past or not getting what we deeply want or demand in the future. The present in increasingly self-evident.Is anyone willing to go on record and state why they think this isn’t indicative of a perception gap between us and the rest of the CBB community?
