Super excited to announce that my daughter Emily (UConn class 2010) and her husband Dan Wells can say "it's a boy" today, May 5, 2018. Henry is my first grandchild and at 18", 7 lbs. 11 oz. I can see he has hops and the length we will need in the future. Baby, mom and dad are all doing well.

Emily moved to Houston to start her career in Feb. 2011 (semester early grad in Dec. 2010) and promptly engaged in bringing the Huskies to town a few months later to celebrate NC 3.

Texas has indeed been good to the Huskies. Welcome Henry!

Congratulations on grandbaby Ewek !

That's great - congratulations!

Congrats!

Seems like a long ways away, but I remember looking at “class of 2019 recruits” and it seemed INSANE and futuristic.

At first I read this as 18 pounds 7 ounces and I thought "Good, offensive line help"
