Roberts runs over the Iowa State player with a moving screen and the announcers just talk about football.

Wow! I think all the refs have lost their whistles somehow. Starting to become an entertaining game. Both teams starting to make some shots.

Refs have found their whistles.
This is the kind of whistle that is going to sink Houston in the tourney. They play the dare the ref to call everything kind of basketball, which is really effective until the ref calls everything.

Kansas State nicest uni’s of the night. Especially with the same color sneakers.

Thank God Dunn from Temple selected UH as well. After having the dominoes fall as they did potentially gave us our MVP!

Give Iowa State the fourth #1 so we don’t have to worry about playing this trash ball until the FF

At the 8 minute mark, Houston had two guys with 4 fouls, only one timeout left and ISU was in the bonus. I would've thought Otzelberger would've taken more advantage of that.

Virginia has 90…. In their last 2 games. Dreadful to watch on that end.

Houston scares me for just one reason. It seems their reputation to play suffocating defense allows them to actually suffocate at times. Stripes have a lot of respect for Sampson.
I think there is some truth to that for sure. But when you get the chance watch the Miami-Houston game from last year in the Sweet 16, or some abbreviated highlights to that game. Miami picked that defense apart. It's why I was so nervous about UConn facing Miami last year in the Final Four because they had an high potent unconventional offensive attack.

The point of everything I said: Houston has a great defense, but it can be beaten as difficult as it is.

Edit later: I would be remiss in not mentioning Norchad Omier who is a beast and man-child and rebounding machine. He negated in that Sweet 16 game what Houston is very good at year after year, offensive rebounding

Height isn't the only component of size. Houston has some strong dudes.
Villanova is the same way. They have some more height, but most of their players are more jacked and filled out their bodies, which is a term that is used more for describing incoming freshmen for football.

Butler feels like the one playing scared, which is unexpected. They have taken some really bad shots.

Neptune looks absolutely giddy in this post-game interview. He must think he saved his job tonight.

#12 Illinois goes down at Penn State, 90-89. PSU was 12-14 overall and 6-9 in the B1G going into the game. Tough to win on the road.

Tominaga from Nebraska is one of the most dynamic players in college hoops. Fun to watch.

He may be at the point that he needs every win to keep his job until the next game.

Getting giddy over a win over Butler is embarrassing. Honestly, he is the most small time coach I can remember at a Big East program since Lappas and Welsh left the conference. It is like he doesn’t think he belongs, so why should anyone else?

Illinois was up 10 with 2 and a half minutes left against 12-13 Penn State

Penn St won.

There is no way the Big East could expand unless DePaul was jettisoned. It wouldn't be fair to have an unbalanced schedule because those are just automatic wins at this point. Marquette is up on DePaul 27-8.

Georgetown actually put up 53 points - in the 2nd half! A loss, but still.
