Fouling when up 3, especially when opponent still has to shoot 1 and 1, is pretty good strategy. Probably better with less than 5 sec (more like 1-3 sec), but yeah.

Sure they could have let another second or two come off the clock but fouling is absolutely the play when up 3 now.

He was advancing and basically at half court. The danger with fouling up 3 is fouling when they go to shoot, and they're a lot less likely to suddenly shoot as you go to foul if you're in the back or at half court.

Tommy Lloyd has pretty much sucked in the Tourney, but otherwise he's doing a fantastic job at Arizona.

They better hope some of the guys on the bench are athletic studs (I don't see it) who are ready because Filipowski and Ryan Young down low ain't it. It took Scheyer all season to get Lively going and they don't have a Lively this season.
