Watching Duke, I just can’t help but think which of Stewart, Mitchell or Power is going to transfer first because they aren’t getting PT next year. Filipowski is a good offensive player but he’s a bad defender.

When I try to assess a team, I always try to do it by ignoring the name on the front of the jersey. When I do it with Duke, I often see this year's squad as being not much different than a very good mid major team. Not always in a 40 minute game but often. Can they get better? Yes. Will Scheyer be the guy to drive that result quickly? Not so confident. He seems soft and I think he's players are modeling after that. Time will tell, but I think our current squad and program/culture is a notch above Duke regardless of how many 5 stars they have/will have.
