Why didn't the basket count, the ball was out of his hand before any contact?

Anyone see the end of TTU/KSU? Tang called TO down 1 with 7 seconds after his point guard got a good switch and iso. Spent majority of the TO drawing a play up with his staff sans the players. By the time he sat down to tell the players, the refs are calling for players on court. TTU player slides himself in the huddle, sees the play. Don't think it matter anyway, but just seemed odd by Tang to call a TO there and then not give time to draw up a decent play.

Zona playing now with Illinois and UConn up tomorrow.

Both. They are good but they are more top 10-15 than top 1-5

There is nothing "vertical" about the shooter's legs here, NBA refs made this a point of emphasis with James Harden because he kept raking up 4pt plays and shooting fouls with this same maneuver and it's now trickled down to the college level and they're trying to call it the same

The ball’s in the hoop at that point. You can maybe say “by the letter of the law notwithstanding common sense that is technically a foul” but it’s a bit silly to say it’s “obviously” a foul.
