Week 7: non UConn

Wow... that's a terrible quote from a head coach. Either he's previewing that there will be some staffing changes; he expects some guys to announce they're transferring, or he's readying his own resignation.

But it's realistic. They need BIG time changes. Massey has them at #207 in D-1. Yes, behind 70 FCS teams.

The top 25 of FCS would, and it sucks to say for them, absolutely annihilate UMass.

UMass lost to Bryant. Bryant is 2-5, their only other win is against DII Bentley.

Bryant is winless in the CAA. Maine drubbed them and Maine is middling FCS at best.

It's hard to overstate how dramatically terrible UMass is.

The AD is a massive problem for them. Apparently they’re missing NIL payments at least in part based on paperwork. Feels like the coach is trying… but the infrastructure and execution across the department is lacking (which would also help explain the basketball issues considering UMass would’ve been a bottom dweller in the A10, moving to the MAC where they’re probably middle of the pack might help get them some wins).

I have friends who are UMass alums and they are beside themselves over what has happened there. The whole department is in free fall. Just a mess. They thought they would at least be competitive in the MAC though they didn’t love the move. Not looking promising

the cbssports.com standings are very strange. I don't think I've seen this happen before, but the conference standings are out of whack. this is only happening for the ACC standings. looks like fsu and unc are still cheating

It does but I'm not sure that's the case. at a minimum cuse should be ahead of fsu

only explanation: fsu and unc are cheaters

This looks like it's sorted on conference record and not overall record
