Things that make you go WTF?!!!

BCU and L-ville are in the ACC

Is that Steve Masiello’s giant head on the Iona bench? What is he, an unpaid intern or something a la Saban?
You are correct. He’s the “director of basketball operations”. Joined Iona soon after his Manhattan oust.

didn't realize that epps from illinois was a providence decommit? he looked like a player. hit a huge three and sank two free throws to force overtime. rough for pc.

why decommit from a school that made the sweet sixteen last year?

Ya just wins over Baylor and Illinois - who just knocked off #2 Texas - and true road win against Michigan...Yawn

we'll probably get sniped by 1 or 2 trash teams but luckily the litmus test is not "showing you" something
In fact, I do yawn when I watch their games.

Jalen Gaffney getting FAU MBB Twitter account love.

Those might be the sickest free handouts I've seen.

With a 7-1 record, FAU is now ranked 56th in KenPom.

pretty funny. can't really understand what either is saying.
they should take a diction class, or just slow the heck down. i know that both are amped to the roof with their new exposure in success, but cheeze and crackers fellas, calm down. there will be plenty of times coming up for them to work on their interview game.

Florida Atlantic destroyed FGCU 85-53.

Look at this insane guard balance at the top of their lineup. Each player is between 6'0 and 6'4.

Small slate today, but two really good matchups against regional teams, both on ESPN+, all four teams within the top-130 in KenPom

UMass Lowell @ UMass
Marshall @ Duquesne

Each team with just one loss.

UMass Lowell is the biggest surprise. They're surpassing Vermont and Bryant as the America East champs.

Awful crowd for the UMass Lowell @ UMass game. An intrastate game featuring two one-loss teams and the place is at best 20% filled. Lowell up 12 w 18 to go.

Ruittie may pull an upset on the buckeyes. tie game 2 minutes left

Oooph. Rutgers had the game, missed a free throw, Ohio State makes an impossible 3 ball for the win by 1. What a gut punch.

Iowa State is getting throttled by Iowa at the moment, down by 25 with 17 mins and some change left.
Osunniyi has 4 fouls too.

Definitely doesn't help our case for #1 that Iowa St. got absolutely destroyed by Iowa. Hopefully Bama takes care of Houston on Saturday and we can at least climb to #3 for now.

ISU's first true road game, and it had all the symptoms of it. Iowa jumped out in front 34-12 and sat on the lead the rest of the way. ISU's bigs were whistled out of the game early and were non-factors, Osunniyi getting 4 points and one rebound. ISU was outscored 15-5 at the foul line and was buried under a barrage of Iowa 3-pointers, 12 of 23, while making only 3 of 22 itself. Iowa played pretty much an iron-man rotation. three starters playing 36 minutes or more and the other two playing 30.

All that said, a 19-pt home court win is numerically less impressive than an 18-pt neutral court win, which UConn logged over ISU at the PK. Last night's result didn't seem to hurt UConn's KenPom SOS very much. Still, it's ammo for any who wish to belittle UConn's OOC victory string and makes this weekend's Alabama-Houston matchup a bit more interesting in that regard. A strongly competitive performance by Alabama would be nice.
