Virginia is overrated. On the ropes against Florida State and JMU, at home two games in a row. It’s great if you can hold a team to 50 points, but you need to be able to score some too

As an aside their fan base is cringey and self important

Ok St - Sam Houston is a defensive battle. Interesting to see the NET darling against a team we just played.

Looks like OK St gonna beat the #7 NET team pretty good. Gotta help us, right?

Virginia hasn’t really shown me much.
Ya just wins over Baylor and Illinois - who just knocked off #2 Texas - and true road win against Michigan...Yawn

we'll probably get sniped by 1 or 2 trash teams but luckily the litmus test is not "showing you" something

Yup. OK St came alive last 12 minutes. Scored 30 points in 10 minutes after scoring 30 points in the first 30 minutes. Beat the KP spread by 5 in a slow game.

Good night for the Huskies. Pretty much everything we wanted happened.

Fellow undefeateds and top 10 NET Maryland and Texas lose in KP upsets. Virginia underperforms the KP spread. Both Big East teams in action win. The aforementioned Ok St win.

Houston is a machine though. Covered their spread by 10.

Also a pretty good result here

Duke feels like one of these teams that's going to come on strong by the end of the season, beat up on some bad ACC teams on the way, then lose in the round of 32 to a 7 seed.

Well, they basically can just roll out the balls in 10 ACC games this year and win with no sweat.

Things that make you go WTF?!!!

BCU and L-ville are in the ACC

Is that Steve Masiello’s giant head on the Iona bench? What is he, an unpaid intern or something a la Saban?
You are correct. He’s the “director of basketball operations”. Joined Iona soon after his Manhattan oust.

didn't realize that epps from illinois was a providence decommit? he looked like a player. hit a huge three and sank two free throws to force overtime. rough for pc.

why decommit from a school that made the sweet sixteen last year?

In fact, I do yawn when I watch their games.

Jalen Gaffney getting FAU MBB Twitter account love.

Those might be the sickest free handouts I've seen.

With a 7-1 record, FAU is now ranked 56th in KenPom.

pretty funny. can't really understand what either is saying.
they should take a diction class, or just slow the heck down. i know that both are amped to the roof with their new exposure in success, but cheeze and crackers fellas, calm down. there will be plenty of times coming up for them to work on their interview game.

Florida Atlantic destroyed FGCU 85-53.

Look at this insane guard balance at the top of their lineup. Each player is between 6'0 and 6'4.

Small slate today, but two really good matchups against regional teams, both on ESPN+, all four teams within the top-130 in KenPom

UMass Lowell @ UMass
Marshall @ Duquesne

Each team with just one loss.

UMass Lowell is the biggest surprise. They're surpassing Vermont and Bryant as the America East champs.

Awful crowd for the UMass Lowell @ UMass game. An intrastate game featuring two one-loss teams and the place is at best 20% filled. Lowell up 12 w 18 to go.
