Week 4: Other Games

I guess Maryland aint losing tonight. L-ville! Bwaaahahaha.

I do enjoy seeing the train wreck that Louisville has become. Too bad the Acc is weak or they could have been 5-21 or something crazy this year.

The Cuse -Illinois game makes me hate basketball.

Illinois has got some decent looks from 3 against Syracuse's zone but haven't been hitting them. 5-24 and 32.4% overall

But Syracuse can't hit anything either. They're at 33.3%. Illinois up 30-23 lol

Girard 0-2, Mintz 1-6

How the heck did they get this bad? Did they lose everyone from last year? No good recruits? I really haven't followed them at all so no idea how they got this bad. They are really bad.

Syracuse's zone collapses again. Illinois up 23 with 5 and a half left

Up to number 7 we go, ho ho ho!!!
I used to admire Syracuse and their winning ways. Such a shame what has befallen them these last several years. Wallace and Moten were beasts back in those glory days. At least Syracuse has those memories to fallback on.

Marquette up 51 to 25 at half vs Baylor.

Benny Williams got a double technical with under a minute left and Mintz picked up a frustration foul with 13 seconds left to make it a 29 point loss to Illinois 73-44

Girard 0 points on 0-3. Mintz 9 points on 3-16. Syracuse shot 27.8%

Terrence Shannon Jr (remember him?) had 17 but shot 5-17. Overall not a great shooting night for Illinois (36% FG, 28% 3P, 64% FT) but caused 22 turnovers and pulled away in the second half

Other fun facts: Coleman Hawkins on Illinois had a triple double with 15/10/10. Skyy Clark shot 0-10
