Maybe so but TCU took down Notre DameThe big 12 is by far the weakest of the power 4.

I had them preseason 5th in the SECI think I need new glasses.
But yes, Kentucky has been surprising so far.
She didn't face Hidalgo, but played against Notre Dame for 3 years when she was at Louisville. Certainly faced Miles before. And it's not like there were no good guards she went up against in the SEC last year.I thought van lith would really struggle against the notre dame guards. But it didn’t happen. And instead she took the game over.
Van Lith is looking more like the version we saw when she was at Louisville. She's used to these types of games.I thought van lith would really struggle against the notre dame guards. But it didn’t happen. And instead she took the game over.
There’s still a lot of season to go but Prince has to be on the shortlist for all American at this point? 31 points and 16 rebounds against NC State and 20 points 20 rebounds, 8 blocks against Notre Dame. Both wins.I'm pretty sure someone noted this a week or so ago. What's been really surprising to me about Prince is what a force she's been on the glass and shot blocking this year. She had very little interest in either of those things while she was at Oregon.
I think all those minutes played by ND starters are taking a toll.I thought van lith would really struggle against the notre dame guards. But it didn’t happen. And instead she took the game over.
And, if she is so inclined, Prince could come back again next season for a 7th year in college as a result of 2 redshirt injury years plus a Covid year. There’s still a lot of season to go but Prince has to be on the shortlist for all American at this point? 31 points and 16 rebounds against NC State and 20 points 20 rebounds, 8 blocks against Notre Dame. And TCU seems to have the strength of schedule for her to be in additional big time matchups. Wouldn’t have guessed this preseason.
Juju and Kiki both scored 30 or more today. Probably TVO's best scoring game w/ USC as well.37-8 third quarter for USC. Exactly what they needed.
I have no idea of her intentions, but I would think she should strike while the iron is hot. She's finally grown into the player some thought she could be...a long time ago. She'll be 25 slightly after the season ends, so if she delayed another year she'd be 26 by the time she hit the W.And, if she is so inclined, Prince could come back again next season for a 7th year in college as a result of 2 redshirt injury years plus a Covid year.
Yes, that would be the likely scenario, unless TCU or some other program finds a bushel full of NIL money to throw at her.I have no idea of her intentions, but I would think she should strike while the iron is hot. Refusing to pay for Blo Sports, I couldn't watch the game, but Citron may match up better against taller guards - JuJu is 6'2" and Paige is 6'0", it's just deceptive because both are so athletic off the dribble. Hailey Van Lith is 5'7" and pocket change and I suspect she may just be a little mighty mouse-y for a tall guard like Citron to keep up with for 40 minutes.Citron not being able to guard her better is a bit of a surprise though, don't you think? Citron handled Paige well last season. She handled Juju pretty well. And Van Lith was just beating her off the dribble and getting anything she wanted.
