Well now. Some upsets, some toss ups (ND/USC, SC/UCLA) and a few weeks to go before we start to see conference games. Lots of TBD games in the holiday tourneys, so some ranked teams might not be listed after 1st round game. Added Michigan and MSU as they are knocking on the door of the top 25 this week. As of today, only 3 top 25 matchups, however with the tourneys, that could change.

ps - lots going on this week, however if I see any top 25 teams in subsequent tourney rounds, I'll try to post.

Ouch. UNC over Indiana 69-39. UNC shot 42.6% overall, 47.8% from 3, and 46.2% from the line. Indiana's numbers were, um, ugly, at 29.1%, 15.4%, and 60.0%

LSU ekes out a win vs Wahington, 68-67 with last second shot.

Someone remind Mikayla Williams that the season has started! 0 points in the game from former number 1 recruit. When Kim says that there’s no dogs on the team except for Morrow and Flaujae, she’s talking about Williams, they need her to step up. 0-9 from the field, ZERO free throw attempts.

It is very annoying to me they only air these games on non-standard streaming services. They couldn’t strike up a deal with Peacock or something? smh.
Some of them are starting to. Battle for Atlantis was on the ESPN network for the first time that I can recall. Maybe some of these tournaments have contract obligations that need to be filled before they can make a change.

Syracuse currently up big at the half against Missouri. Let’s see how the Orange do in the 2nd half after playing perhaps their best 1st half of the year so far.

I think UConn will have trouble with Ole Miss. we better bring our A-game for that one.

Will the real Indiana please stand up? Started out the season struggling, seemed to turn it around, then this. I'm confused.
Definitely the most Jekyll and Hyde team in the country so far. Two ranked wins and three very bad losses. Surprising — Moren’s teams are usually very consistent, they just have ceilings with their athleticism and talent levels.

Creighton versus Syracuse will be kind of an interesting game tomorrow.
Listening to the Syracuse broadcast tonight, seems like a W against Creighton is going to be tall order. That was the consensus, anyway.

Syracuse could win but they need to stay tough, execute all the standard plays, and have a good game for all 4 quarters.

My rule of thumb for Creighton is hold maly and Jensen combined below 40.

Mogensen has been hot the last two games though. And I think almost everyone scored in double figures tonight.

Syracuse probably has a size and athleticism advantage. I would say they definitely have a shot.

GT was up 3 at the start of the 4 quarter, and won by 16.
Oregon's brief visit to the rankings ended abruptly as GT pulled in 15 more O boards and converted them to 25 points. Ouch. That's a spanking. GT did pretty much the same to South Dakota State on Saturday. Ducks 3 point shooting woes returned with a vengeance (2-13).
One game does not a season make but I am scaling back my hopes for the Ducks to be a possible tournament team now. Maybe shoot for .500?

Quick Tuesday update for your viewing pleasure. The Alabama/Clemson game added.

California vs Michigan State was quite entertaining. Kudos to Michigan State for coming back from down 16 to win the game.

Alabama vs Clemson....yikes. I just looked at the boxscore. Shooting 25% won't help to keep pace with any team.

SDSU Jackrabbits win a close one over #21 Oregon.

Syracuse currently getting completely outclassed by Creighton right now. Down by 20 in Q2.
