Week 3: Other Games

While the schadenfreude is delicious, best perhaps to recall that in 2016-17 we recorded a loss to Wagner. Kind of the same. Clearly 'Cuse needs a new coach, much like we did.

At least on Twitter, Cuse fans are done with JB. Has any coach ever overstayed his welcome quote this long? He should have returned 4-5 years ago. Will donors and alumni finally force it?

That was then and this is now. The present is wonderful.

I keep hearing that he has the support of the Syracuse Board of Trustees and many major donors. Their AD, Wildhack, has to walk a fine line, it seems. Syracuse fans have to vote with their dollars. I hope they keep voting and paying for mediocrity . . . or worse.

I watched a lot of it, Girard STINKS. Bryant was winning the entire game by 10-12. Cuse started cutting it around maybe 10 minutes left. Refs were atrocious.

Not sure what Boeheim said but knowing him it was obnoxious. I first saw him talking to one of the Bryant players in the line.

I was hoping for ESPN to stop talking and camera to the coaches. He then started yapping at Grasso for something.

He’s such a baby, phony, bully, you name it.

I think John Chaney stayed a few years too long.

So bad, the game thread on their site was up to 43 pages. They closed it to futher comments then deleted it entirely.

Apparently, King Picker was upset the Bryant players were too slow to greet him and his band of basketball heroes in the handshake line. He said something to a player or two and it went downhill from there.

This thread title is HOF worthy. I hope he coaches Sara for another 20 years.

I loved how the white guy on Bryant did that slap on the head and then just ran away. That is kind of weak if you run after doing that.
wow that was a weak move right there. Glad they ejected him. No place for that. That is how you end up with a brawl that gets a bunch of players on both teams either hurt or in serious trouble. Good poise I have to say for the Cuse player not to immediately react to that with retaliatory violence.

Mintz for Syracuse slapped Edert for Bryant first. Both were ejected

I didn't see that part. But, you're still better to walk away. If you're second guy into the scrum and get rung up for it it doesn't matter that you were right and protecting your teammates.
