Been stuck in the house and have watched more regular season college basketball the past week than I did the last 2 years combined. After what I've seen I'm now reminded why I stopped paying attention, cbb needs an overhaul, the game is terrible.

Big East was the best out of conference league in the country last season, this year it's pretty bad. It still won't be anything like playing in the AAC where every out of conference game meant everything, even with Big East looking down this year it's considered one of the best conferences and has street cred/respect.

To be fair, the main criticism of the AAC (by the pundits) was that UConn was a dumpster fire. If Villanova performed like UConn these past few years, the league(s) would bear that same cross.

I don't remember the AAC winning any big matchups out of conference.

Since Cooley has taken over his teams have been known for struggling early (with the exception of Dunn and bentil team) and putting together late Feb and March.

Duke isn't ready to be the main cog yet.

Kentucky, Duke and UNC all losing. I think (bet) the freshman teams are going to have a much harder time this year with all the corona chaos. Will be harder for those teams to come together versus the veteran teams.

FSU, intheir first game of season last night, blew out UNF....nice start..but it was only UNF...as Ham said..."The cake is still in the oven".

Scotty Barnes played 24 minutes in his first college game...

UNC is getting by with brute strength, rebounding and referee bias. They slipped by Stanford after committing 24 turnovers and then yesterday they were bailed out by the refs. It shouldn't have come down to Coleman's last shot.

Big opportunity for the big east today. Would be awesome to get 2 of 3 wins at least. Somewhat surprised at the lines for the Marquette and SH games though.

Lot of home cooking from the refs in this MSU Detroit game.
Yep I was watching. Detroit got sold out by the refs all so Michigan St could get a 7 point win. Tuning in for Wisconsin Marquette right now

Marquette with 4 fouls with less than 1:30 gone in 2nd half. That's worse than us.

Seton Hall slugging it out with Penn State after going down big early. 5:46 left.

Now starting to look sloppy.

Hall goes ahead late in OT and holds on for a 98 - 92 win. This game was fun but a real dumpster fire. Atrocious from the free throw stripe, but SH hit a big 3 down the stretch and sealed the deal after that.
