This KU vs. UK game is ugly. It’s like streetball and neither team can put the ball in the hoop. Haven’t seen a shot outside of 10 feet made all half.
 
Why is there are player “not feeling well” playing in this UK KU game? Doesn’t seem responsible of the coaches to play the kid during this pandemic. They should have sat him out for this game as a precaution. A covid outbreak to ruin the season is the last thing we need.
 
Boston and Clarke aren't getting drafted as high as they've been mocked if they can't learn to shoot... they've both been abysmal.

Plenty of 6'8 athletes in the NBA. You can't be a ZERO PERCENT three point shooter in your first 3 college games (with 3 attempts +) per game and expect to be keep your draft value.

Kentucky looks awful. Kansas looks slightly better.

Kentucky having only one halfway competent shooter on their roster and it's a guy who left Creighton b/c he lost his role here is an unexpected twist.

Please let us be better than Providence. If we live up to our ranking behind them at 4th in the BE then we will suck bad!

They are the absolute worst. They were the only Big East school that tanked in non conference last year. They were TERRIBLE early last year. Than they got in the Big East and finished like 4th and caught fire. Looks like they are off to the same.

Reeves and Duke just not getting it done, bynum is a back up. Cooley has to go with 6'3 freshman Breed at the point.

They started out pretty horribly last season too and then picked it up substantially down the stretch where they were probably an NCAA Tournament team at the end.
 
URI beats Seton Hall by 13.

Absolutely zero reason UConn can’t finish top 3 in this league. I have been less than impressed with pretty much everyone (other than Creighton and Nova and Nova really only in their last game).
 
Big East not doing well. It's a top heavy conference this year with Nova, Creighton, and I think UConn.

I thought Seton Hall and Providence were a bit overrated going into the season. Hall lost a ton from last year in Powell, McKnight, and Gill...Mamu is their only big time scorer and they have some weak links in the lineup. Providence I'm sure will get better like they usually do but they just don't look very good.

Since Cooley has taken over his teams have been known for struggling early (with the exception of Dunn and bentil team) and putting together late Feb and March.
 
Unfortunately, last year there we’re many more non conference wins for the Big East than this year so UConn can’t afford to lose games they normally could like St Johns for example and will have to beat Creighton or Nova at least once. This league really isn’t going to be the boost for UConn this season that it really should have been. Now if UConn takes care of biz the next two days that all goes off the table and they can afford to let off the gas a bit. Gotta wait to see.

Big East was the best out of conference league in the country last season, this year it's pretty bad. It still won't be anything like playing in the AAC where every out of conference game meant everything, even with Big East looking down this year it's considered one of the best conferences and has street cred/respect.

Yeah which is why we can afford a few more losses than the AAC but not as many as a normal big east year. I wouldn’t say the big east is “bad” I just think they haven’t gotten going yet. Somewhat average year. A down year for them. With monster recruiting classes coming in for next year, it might just be a down year and we have to take care of biz. We have 4 times to meet up with nova and Creighton alone.
