Week 19 Other Games

The conference and Gonzaga both want the best teams to make the tournament. More credits for the conference.

Fair enough. Either way, the challenge of winning a conference tourney is having to mentally and physically get up for and win 3-4 games on consecutive days, regardless of level of competition. Cutting that down to 2 games fundamentally changes/dilutes that.

Boehiem has complained about the ACC tournament in Greensboro since ‘cuss made the move. Nothing would be more fitting than him losing his last game in a first round game at a half full Greensboro Coliseum.

Just a total microcosm of their season. A horrible play drawn up by Boeheim leading to a bad shot by Girard, compounded with terrible defense in transition.

Loved the lead up to the last sequence. A drop in on the Syracuse huddle and the announcers talking about how calm the huddle is, and the 48 years of coaching experience in action. The result of the 48 years….a contested fall back 20 footer from the 3rd or 4th best option on the floor.

I actually had to turn it off ro get to Dr appt. Wasn't going to try and find it on radio in the car.

Checked the score while at a red light.

These guys want to play deep into conference tournaments with a chance to make a run in the NCAA tournament. Syracuse can offer that regardless if Boeheim stays or goes. Jesse Edwards is likely gone and there is no decent big man to replace him. I would expect their roster to be decimated by transfers. There is talent on the floor and in the right program Mintz will be a star.
