That middle group, especially LSU and NC State could create some problems for teams and could make it to the title game. That third group, Ole Miss especially, are dangerous as well. They could shake things up. Exciting times for us a WBB fans.
NC State not deep, but playing out of their minds!

LSU still a threat. Forget FJ, they are resting her from a nagging stress injury, and could if needed even rest her for weekend #1 of ncaa.

Mulkey crazy like a fox. FJ out is giving her a chance to test drive her bench guards. Shepherd, Roberts and Gilbert getting huge minutes right now, that only helps them for elite 8. LSU still will have that lead trio of Morrow, FJ and Williams and will be a tough out, even if they fall to #3 seed.

@triaddukefan North Carolina A&T beat beat UNC Wilmington 65-54 for the cherry on top (I'm assuming Wilmington isn't among your top 15 teams from the state of NC).

Tomorrow is the biggest day in my WCBB fandom. UNC-G plays for its first NCAA Berth since 1998 at 12pm. Duke goes for its first ACC Championship since 2013 at 1pm.... and finally High Point tries for its second ever appearance in the NCAAs at 6pm

If all three are victorious... its gonna get ratchet up in here about 8pm

Gotta be my favorite ex Vol. I don't even remember her playing career so I'm not holding that against her.
Can not be… Tamika catchings… kara Lawson

Oh my LSU TEx — first one to 50 wins? Not pretty.

And Morrow hurt her foot?

Hmm, so this is the Texas team that everyone is supposed to be afraid of. LSU is down two players and their third star is saddled with foul trouble--and this is still a game.

Does Oldacre think people are afraid of her? LMAO! Because girl--Last Tear Poa clearly isn't.

Baylor wins in OT

Creighton trying to avoid an epically bad loss to Gtown

Just know that if South Carolina beat an LSU team down Flau'jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow (for about a half) by less than 10 points, WCBBland would crash TF out and would have quite a lot to say about Dawn, our players, the future of the program, Cocky's mama, etc.

Instead, we will be told that this was a hard-fought defensive struggle between two evenly-matched teams.

If morrow is out and TCU wins then I think they move up to a 2 .

To be transparent it was not the strongest career. She was part of Holly’s downfall where those Tennessee teams had a gift for finding ways to lose in ways I’ve never seen before. Love her as an analyst though.

My guess is we don’t hear a peep from LSU regarding her status until after the seeds are revealed. Similar to Notre Dame regarding Miles a couple of years ago and Virginia Tech with Kitley last year.

Exactly. Kim didn't just fall off the turnip truck.

On that note though, I really hope Morrow’s foot injury wasn’t as bad as it looked. She’s had a phenomenal season and career, it’d be really sad for it to end like this.

Could be. LSU's seed most likely comes down to where Texas and South Carolina (both #1 seeds) are seeded since they won't be placed in either one of those regions as a 2-seed or 3-seed; could be bumped up or down.

They can't be bumped up or down a seed line. Conference conflict would only affect their regional placement but their seed line will reflect their true ranking by the committee.

Anyone else feel like the 1 seeds are set? I don't think a loss by UCLA, USC, Texas or South Carolina will move the needle. I think we're really just wondering what will be the arrangement of the teams when it is all said and done. The only other contender is UConn. They could potentially move to the one line if Texas blows out South Carolina. Other than that, I don't think UConn has much of a prayer of moving up.

Is seton hall really about to lose to Xavier? Their offense has been absolutely putrid today.

I thought they were probably set after yesterday but today left no doubt.

If Texas wins tomorrow, I'm confident they get the overall 1 seed regardless of who wins the Big 10.

If South Carolina wins tomorrow, will be very interesting to see what the committee does with them. Most likely at overall 2 or 3, but who knows.

Right. Once their seed-line is assigned, they won't be placed in a region with conference schools Texas and South Carolina. Seems like LSU was "bumped" recently from like 9 to 10 to avoid being in the same region with South Carolina. Now they have 2 conference schools who will be #1 seeds and they will be impacted again, especially with Oklahoma and Kentucky being Top 16 seeds, and Ole Miss and Alabama potentially being Top 16 seeds.

If that is the case, Quad 1 and strength of schedule should never be mentioned again if one game outweighs the whole season.

Even before yesterday's semi-finals were completed, I didn't think UConn could jump up to a #1 seed. Their loss at Tennessee is the worst loss (non-Top 16 team) among Texas, South Carolina, USC, and UCLA, and they have very few Quad-1 wins compared to those 4 schools.

Lots of folks want to post about UConn's impressive with at South Carolina as to why they could jump the Gamecocks, but that's just one game. Just like South Carolina's impressive win over Texas in Columbia. And, just like UConn's unimpressive loss at Tennessee.
