Week 17 - Feb 26 to Mar 4 (games, conf standings, NET)

Vandy scores two points in fiinal 7:45 of third quarter. Trails by one.

The Jacks making care of business against the Bengals. ISU starts a Niki-from Split, Croatia, sophomore Nika Lokica. Like #10, this Croatian is TOUGH. At the half Lokica only has one foul and they must reach that disbelief reaction throughout Croatia. She only trails her countrywoman by 154 assists on the season.

Montana is up on Eastern Washington early. This Big Sky race isn't over.

Duke is the best 19-9 team in the country. I expected a dogfight cause UVA was the best 14-13 team in the USA, but we were never threatened this game.

Louisville is handling Florida St. Tonight is "get right" night in the ACC for some teams that have been struggling a bit down the stretch.

Just watched the review that resulted in a foul being called on NCSU with .1 second left. Syracuse made 2 FTs to tie the game.
Did you notice the red lights were showing up on the goal when that foul was called? NC State had to win that game twice.

.-.
I almost did it again. North Carolina was down 18, got within 4 but couldn't get any closer.

I don't know if everybody cleared out because there's no way SFA is coming back, but there are about 13 people in the building if you don't count the band, the cheerleaders, the scorers table and the coaching staffs.

It was not get right night for Mississippi St., continuing their swoon. Down 14 to Auburn late in the game.

Tennessee beat Texas A&M.

Please please please can some of these SEC teams get their bubble burst?

Az trying to get on the bubble. Beat Stanford now leading usc late!

Maddie Nolan averaging 5.7 ppg, has 14 at the half against Washington. That figures. Buffs up 11.

They had a more comfortable lead not long ago. USC trying to come back. Looks like Juju is getting help from Rayah Marshall tonight.

I believe they're already on the bubble, and a win here would put them in.

Ooh, in a stirring game in the Southland, McNeese got their first conference win against Houston Christian. The 2 are a combined 2-30 in one of the weakest conferences in the country.

Bama fought off a late come back by Florida and Ole Miss hammered Kentucky.

.-.
Yikes, what a collapse by Arizona down the stretch. Juju fouled out and they still coughed up the lead. Failed to box out the FT shooter, which resulted in a 5 point possession. Overtime.

If you don't like OTs, don't pay any attention tonight. Looks like we've got another one in Tucson.

Good that yall won, Cause i was about to say some not so nice things about your squad.

shout out @Dillon77 I think you're a Notre Dame fan. What an impressive victory over VT today. Their big 3 is pretty great when they remember they are great. Hidalgo always is aggressive but Westbeld and Citron are great when they are aggressive. Additionally, they have great size, and just enough pieces. IDK, I was disappointed when UConn lost to them, but they are pretty legit.
I'm guessing Niele Ivey agrees with you and reminded Soni Citron of that at halftime. After having zero points in the first, she went off for 21 in the second. ND used a combination of Westbeld and Watson to faceguard Kitley and Citron took over on Amoore when it mattered. Citron and Hidalgo are getting to the point of reading each other, like in this play.

Heartbreaker for Arizona. USC showed they can win without Juju. 95-92 in 2 OT.

Brink doesn't seem to be missing Beers being on the court, she has 13 pts/14 reb just before halftime. Beavs were hanging in there but starting to get away from them.

Good lord that was painful to view. Arizona engaging in heavy self-harm to hand that game to USC. Very reminiscent of how they choked away the game at Oregon State.

Washington has cut a 12 point deficit down to 5, but they are almost out of time.

Did Sherrod get hurt in this game? Box score says only 2 fouls but I don't see her on the court.

Edit: okay now she's back in with 34 seconds left. Apparently got hit in the face earlier.
