Week 12 preview (Jan. 24-30)

Another sign that Big South action is lights out.

And Texas is a bad team that gets away with things that shouldn't be in basketball.
Vic sets the game back 25 years with the rough stuff from his players.
On one play Ebo ran through a player,
like she was in the WWE, and the player she ran over was called for a foul.
Saw the game and that play in particular and TX made the Depaul team look like Smurfs OU stayed composed with Williams and Robertson.

The Mighty Camels of Campbell hadn't ost since Nov 28.... they were averaging holding opponents to 50 points a game..... they ventured down Interstate 85 to face off against USC-Upstate. In the upset of the year so far.. the Spartans exploded for 81 points and dehumped the Camels 81-60. The only other team to put that many points up on the Camels was VPI with 84. Just goes to show you that YOU CANNOT TAKE NIGHTS OFF in the Big South conference.
“Dehumped the camels” may be the headline of the year

Colorado beat Utah on the road in OT on Friday. Rematch today in Boulder, Utah missing their starting PG...no problem. Double digit win for the Utes. Started 3 Fr. and 2 Soph. Buffs have lost 5 out of 6.

edit--looks like another miserable game for Sherrod, 1-10 shooting, 3 pts., 5 assists but 4 TOs.

My stinking Huskies got swept by their cross state rivals, didn't take abysmal FT shooting to lose today, just no offense. 57-43 final. Held under 50 5 times this year.

Minny over Wisky 57-55. Both were 2-7 in conference coming into the game.

Oregon killed USC. Sabally and Rogers nearly matched the Trojans' scoring just between the 2 of them. Endiya is probably not regretting leaving.

Also found it quite interesting to see Oklahoma get the turnovers that we've been seeing Texas create this season.

Has Oklahoma found a defense to help them for the balance of the season? Or was this an aberration?

UNC got off to a good start, but NC State rode a big Q3 to a 66-58 win.

Stanford beat Arizona 75-69. Cats are scrappy. Monster game for Brink 25 pts/15 reb/2 assists/2 steals/3 blocks. Van Gytenbeek huge off the bench 18 pts on 6 3's. No other Stanford players in double figures.

Reese, Pellington and Yeaney all had good games for Arizona.

Wow, Seton Hall was within 3 of DePaul about midway thru Q3. Blue Demons ended up winning by 20. That changed in a hurry.

Depaul have players who can put the ball in the net.

Oregon St. beats UCLA 72-58. von Oelhoffen scored 52 in their 2 games this week I think. Pac 12 Player of the Week?

I don't think the black unis have provided any luck yet this season.

Can't remember which games we have worn the black jerseys.... I prefer the road blue myself.

I'm going to put my Husky hats back deep in the closet.... they stink in Football... men's basketball... and women's basketball. Can't be seen in public rocking the UDub this year
