1) Not happy Duke-UNC is on ACCNX and Louisville-FSU is on ACCN at 8 this Thursday. Granted, the schedule was probably set up well in advance, but this rivalry with ranked teams (which hasn't been the case in a long time) would seem more appealing to viewers in my opinion.

2) Kansas State vs Texas will be interesting. How does Lee hold up against the front court depth of Texas? This may be her biggest challenge of the season. Looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

Well, KSU did play South Carolina already; so, that has to be the best frontcourt Lee will face all season. Believe she notched like 19 points.

Appreciate the info. If she was able to notch 19 against the likes of Boston, Amihere, Cardoso and co., is it safe to assume she'll do the same or better versus Texas?

Big 12 POY Favorite Ayoka Lee should do fine with Texas. I'd point out that while Southie has the wrong stats for the South Carolina game, it's worth noting that Lee put up 19 pts, 11 rebounds against North Carolina State. According to Massey, NC State has the #9 ranked defense in the country. The challenge for Ayoka is usually whether she gets enough help against teams like South Carolina or NC State to take some of the focus off her. Against Texas, the challenge will be whether the guards can handle the Texas pressure to get the ball down low to Ayoka Lee without too much trouble.

I'm not happy about it either. I originally planned to attend the game, but can't.... and now since its not on ACCN... I wont be able to watch due to black out rules.

If anyone knows how to get around this blackout rule, I'd be willing to sign over naming rights to my first born.

My guess is that each team in the league has to appear on the main channel a minimum number of times every year.

Very likely. Doesn't mean I have to like it though . I already have to go through other means as it is.

Poor Shea. Vandy didn't score double figures in any quarter against South Carolina and lost by 55.

Vandy missed 43 shots and had 9 offensive rebounds.

SC missed 23 shots and had 14 offensive rebounds.

Potential game of interest added this week, as Oregon State will travel to Pullman to take on Washington State on Wednesday. Certainly both teams could use the win to bolster a...middling tourney resume.

ESPN sticking with airing WBB at 6:00 on Thursday picking up the rescheduled SC/Ole Miss game. Probably safe to assume the Rebels’ new status as a ranked team helped secure this.

That was an impressive second half for Iowa; it was a 5-point game at halftime.

Why do I feel this needs to be pinned somewhere because this will likely change again? Season isn't done yet and she has a couple more years..................damn!

With Czinano an automatic finisher, multiple 3pt shooters above 35% and the pace they play so the number of shots is so high, she is in a great assist environment as long as she does not become a wild eyed shooter. Her shooting stats in this game were actually pretty constrained (4-10 from 3) but (2-7 from 2) and only got to the line 4 times (very low for her)

Texas beats KSU tonight 66-48.

Ayoka Lee played 39 minutes as she was not in foul trouble. Scored 2 points in the first quarter; and only had 4 or 6 points to end the half. Had 10 points total to end the third quarter; she did end up with 20 points on a few late buckets as her final shooting line was 9-20; also had 11 rebounds.
