Sorry for your loss. What was the line, seven? Won’t make you feel better, but they were up 12 with 1:40 left and nine with 40 seconds remaining. No-foul defense and clock-running offense did you in after that.

Two things I learned when I did occasionally make a wager a few years back: First and foremost, bookies were doing just fine without my inevitable contributions to their bank account; Second: Never give points with an SEC road team.

Conference refs do discourage carrying weapons onto the floor, but head locks, pile drivers and the people’s elbow are perfectly fine. Mostly for home teams, though.

Give me a heads up next time, and I’ll try to get word to Mikayla Blakes that 38 ain’t enough. Triad needs at least 40 from you tonight. She’s a good girl, and I’m sure she’ll try to help.

Meanwhile, I recommend you study my first and foremost point above. I know barbecue, cheer wine and smokes ain’t cheap, but every bookie I know has a car trunk loaded with the stuff.

In exchange for all this sage advice, could I ask one small favor? Please don’t bet on Vandy to win over Michigan. 😀
 
North Dakota St.-South Dakota St. just getting going in a game that will establish early pole position for the Summit crown.
 
As I was saying...after feasting on a D3 opponent earlier in the week, today Cornell lost at home to conference foe Brown by 16. Really not sure what their game against SUNY Delhi accomplished or why they scheduled it for mid January.

Chicago State won its 3rd game of the season today. That's got to be the most number of wins in a season for that program in quite some time.

Points COMBINED. Just brutal. Rhody is better than that but for any writer to be voting them for top 25, please be logical.

I must say I do worry that Tammi will be poached by a P4 team. So I am conflicted on wishing too much success for the Rams as I would miss how she miraculously over performs every year- they were pre season 4th, so I am already playing with “house money”

But I also know why you want the Rams to keep winning - it makes your loss less harmful….😜
 
The Bizon with a big road win at South Dakota St. today. There might be a changing of the guard happening in the Summit. Not sure when the last time a team won the conference that wasn't from the state of South Dakota.
 
Brutal box score stat : Kansas State out rebounds Red Raiders 46-20. 17-3 on the O boards. Ouch. At home too. Double ouch.

Yep. Coach Campbell is a solid skill development coach, and he just has a way to connect with people that makes you feel validated, so you know that he can recruit.
 
We got some excellent stinker games in progress. Rutgers @ Penn St. One will get their first Big 10 win. SMU @ Pitt. Ponies are winless in conference, Pitt somehow managed to beat an ACC foe already.
