Missouri St. led briefly but drops a bad loss to Valpo 73-71.

Iowa now up 81-49. It was a 6 point game at halftime. Whalen's short bout appearing to be a competent coach may be ending.

Wait, what? She recently beat Penn St, Purdue and Nebraska, not exactly a gauntlet of titans, so not so sure anyone around here was thinking “she’s turned it around”.

Calling someone competent isn't exactly glowing praise. But hey Nebraska has been hot, and I don't think any Minnesota fan is going to turn their nose up at a 3 game winning streak, regardless of who it comes against. It was certainly better than losing 1 or 2 of those games, which could've happened easily enough.
