Week 1 games (Nov. 25-29)

71-45 w/ less than 3 minutes left. Gonzales and Harding 4-27. Sadler has 23. I gotta think this is a fairly shocking result.
Perhaps even as shocking as Washington beating Iowa last year on a neutral court.

As Plebe mentioned, up to 4 and she could probably petition for a 5th if she really wanted to, although I dont see her trying to spend 7 years in college.

She'll be draft eligible in 2022, so realistically I think she stays 2-3 years max since she'll have her degree and will likely be a high pick. She's also been vocal about athletes getting paid and her medical bills from Texas, so my guess is she starts playing pro ball once she has her degree and eligible to.

I think that's the general thinking in Eugene as well. And the same for Nyara Sabally. Re Sedona, Graves also made the Walton comparison last spring.

They've beaten a few good teams during Wynn's tenure (Duke, Iowa, UCLA), but they haven't hammered any quality opponents that I can think of.

It remains to be seen just how 'quality' BYU actually is. I doubt they'll end up a top 16 team as Iowa was last year. Based on their two games thus far, it looks like they're living and dying by Shaylee.

#20 Gonzaga vs. South Dakota (6p, FloHoops). Crossover Classic, Sioux Falls SD.
This game moved to tomorrow at 3:00. Gonzaga plays South Carolina today at 3:00.

Come on, let me enjoy the moment. :p

BYU was 0-4 against Pac 12 schools last year, including losses to Washington St. and Utah. I am taking it with a grain of salt, but still feel good about the win. I know BYU isn't Gonzaga, big drop off from the Zags to the rest of the WCC.

I want to thank you, @LETTERL , @triaddukefan and others for keeping us abreast of these last-minute schedule changes. I'm trying my best to keep the header post updated. When did this Gonzaga-SC game get added?

part of the tournament in South Dakota. Slight reschedule due to there only being three teams after Oklahoma dropped out

Kierstan Bell apparently just got her waiver approval **this morning** and is now in action for FGCU.

It's criminal how the NCAA took this long -- and extremely fortunate for Arkansas, who needed some good fortune just to squeak past a Bell-less FGCU yesterday. Neighbors must have a connection to the guys behind the curtain in Indy  .

My apologies if I missed it in the header. Jackson State plays at 3:00 pm (cst) at Mississippi State. It is an added game since the tournament got cancelled.

So I am watching Western Carolina-Duke...and for the second game in a row, there is a background light roar constantly playing in the background. @triaddukefan any idea what that is? I've never noticed it before at Cameron, which usually has lots of fans in attendance.

De Jesus of Duke off to a good start.... 14 pts on perfect shooting from the floor and the ft line...... Duke up 39-19 on the powerful Catamounts out of the Western NC Mountains.

Scheduling is going to be fluid all season so we’ll all need to help keep these threads updated. What you’ve been doing has provided convenience to our daily WBB viewing consumption so happy to contribute when possible.

This game was moved up from tomorrow, replacing the cancelled OU/SC match up.

Some kind of piped in noise. I think there is a limit to how much noise is allowed

Bell finished with 24 points and 20 rebounds against Davidson today, in 29 minutes of play.

Duke fends off an attack from the mighty Catamounts.... 83-56 Final. Jade Williams with 9 points, and career highs with 15 rebounds and 8 assists...
