It took a big Q3 for Arkansas to pull away from Wake Forest. 6 in double figures for the Razorbacks, they scored 98. Ramirez led them w/ 22, 17 for Dungee, 16 for Slocum.

They will certainly improve when they get some players healthy, but losing to Ohio despite 37 from Mabrey doesn’t bode well. Their returning players from last season just seem to be missing something.

Their two returning players, Anaya Peoples and Destinee Walker, had 13 points and 11 rebounds and 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. I think that’s about what was expected last year.

I think the bigger issue was no Gilbert or Brunelle.

Well, they were called for a lot of fouls. Whether they committed all of them is open to some interpretation. But they do need to play cleaner defense, for sure. I think it was the 4th quarter before Ramirez missed her first shot of the game.
