He shoots a really high percentage when he's alone. With time and his feet are set. He also hits shots on the move quite well. Curling around screens. He also is not a horrible ball handler, passer and decision maker. Finally he plays D like he knows he has great shot blockers behind him. Active and opportunistic. Just a fabulous transfer portal get. Fabulous teammate. He's a versatile player.Let's claim this kid as our own. This is where he belongs. He is so much more than a three point shooter. He is crafty in the lane. Solid off the elbow. And Joey feeds Clingan like he's the family cat.
Yep, Joey Connecticut.
Indeed. He is SO smooth. I guarantee he'll be the difference in the game multiple times this year and I'd say that'll also be true in March. An opposing team can account for a lot, but Joey Connecticut isn't going to be one of them.Let's claim this kid as our own. This is where he belongs. He is so much more than a three point shooter. He is crafty in the lane. Solid off the elbow. And Joey feeds Clingan like he's the family cat.
Yep, Joey Connecticut.
Joey CalcaneticutHere's a compromise ---Joey Calneticut. Flows off the tounge.
But does Joey Cal cut nets? TBDHere's a compromise ---Joey Calneticut. Flows off the tounge.
Crazy talkHas anyone suggested Joey Calcaterra yet?
Lol and on to the floor with a resounding thudHere's a compromise ---Joey Calneticut. Flows off the tounge.

Like it, but I think it works better in the singular:Joey Nutmegs
He's the first line of a Haiku#Joey4syllables
Interesting you should say that. He's the first line of a Haiku
Wouldn't work for Joey C.. But used to have a friend we called.. Joe BagadonutsInteresting you should say that.
In a recent thread, somebody wrote "Joey Cal[+3more]" and I noted that it added up to 6.
Another poster had written "Joe Cal[+3 more]" which came in at 5. I'd go with J instead of Joe if I were shaving the syllable.
But then @August_West said he liked "Joey Capicola," but wanted it pronounced "Gabagool," in much the same way that "mozzarella" is pronounced as a 3-syllable word, (if not 1), "ricotta" is a 2-syllable, or "scamorza" is "scamootz" in the land of "Abeetz." Augie's version works as haiku opener for a ratified ctoed. I'm not so sure that's us.
It all adds up to a lotta possibilities around a guy who is up over 55% from both 2 & 3, 83% from the line, and right on target lobbing to our very own DC action hero.
