An argument could be made for all 3 of them. Paige led them to the Final 4 and her numbers were great throughout the tournament.I can't believe that Strong was not the MOP.
She was on the edge all game.I thought Dawn blew by Geno pretty fast during the handshake line, did not say a word, I don't think.
Yes but the MOP was for the final four which Paige didn't put up numbers like Azzi and Sara..I would have picked Sara for the FF with not just points but rebounds and terrific defenseAn argument could be made for all 3 of them. Paige led them to the Final 4 and her numbers were great throughout the tournament.
Go one further too. 3 #1s go down.Insane performances the last 2 games. Tipping my cap to yall. Enjoy the victory, congrats.
Very happy for Paige. Injuries. Stuck it out. Bleeds Husky blue.Unbelievable!!! Saw the first one 30 years ago. This one was my second favorite and of course the first was my favorite!
They posted a graphic on this. This was the 4th time it's happened. The most recent before this was Baylor 2005. Louisiana Tech and Tennessee did it once each in the 80s.How many times has a 2 seed taken out 3 #1 seeds to win the championship/
Dawn is a great coach, but a very poor loser.I thought Dawn blew by Geno pretty fast during the handshake line, did not say a word, I don't think.
Beats her going for his throat!I thought Dawn blew by Geno pretty fast during the handshake line, did not say a word, I don't think.
I'll say it wasn't that long ago! Two months to the day, to be exact, when we lost to Tennessee.Wasn’t that long ago there were people saying that the game had passed Geno by. Today showed that is not the case. Happy for Geno, happy for UConn and really happy for Paige.
Great day to be a UConn fan.
