Defence win the game is not a cliche. This team could be considered the best Defence so far. This was the continuous and persistent effort by Geno implementing the concept.

That’s why I figured the result of 80 Huskies points with 19 MOV !

I was one of the so many BYders in happy tears !

I remember 30 years ago Rebecca walking into Gampel with that 1st national championship trophy and We Are the Champions blasting from the speakers. The years have slipped by quickly. I’ve grown old, lost family and friends but one constant has been the joy UConn Women’s Basketball has brought. Thank you Geno, CD and all the fine women that have been a part of this great program!

Congrats UConn! This team was at another level! Domination!!!!

Soooo happy to see Paige get her Natty! Her, Aubrey and Kaitlyn deserved it and got it!

Congrats to them all!

There's two things you have to have to win championships. Real talent and the guts to use that talent and handle pressure at money time. This TEAM had both this year and delivered. Bueckers, Griffin, and Chen getting their title shows that good kids eventually get their rewards. Congrats to the best team in WCBB.

So happy for the whole team, Geno, CD, and the coaches, but I'm especially happy for Paige. She could've turned pro last year, but she chose to come back and try to get the one thing that had eluded her through all her injuries and her teammates'.

The team should be in good hands next year with Azzi, Sarah, KK, Ash, Jana, Ice, and a sophomore jump from the freshmen. Can't wait to see what they do.

Many thanks to the BEST TEAM EVER!!! Here's a special shout out to KK, who injected a shot of energy every time she entered a game all season. And to Ashlyn for her beautiful smile!!! And to Kaitlyn for her consistency!! And to Aubrey for being Aubrey. And to our biggies, and the BIG 3 who played their hearts out. And to the bench - the future!!! And to all the coaches, especially Geno and Chris. And the great fans... Good luck to all and THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

First off congratulations! As a men’s poster but also a women’s team fan I must say this: Yes Uconn was more talented but… the tenacity and toughness I saw was something to behold. Paige fights for every ball out there like it’s life or death and so does Sarah, and the rest of the team is right in line. And UConn dominated them while shooting just 23% from 3, didn’t matter.
Not all basketball players, men or women that I watch play with that kind of intensity. Great great performance!
