We don’t seem to have a killer instinct that wins close games on the road. We play tight. Love this team. Still have high expectations, but we don’t have it… yet.
The roster is great. It’s Hurley’s in game coaching that is costing us.We don’t seem to have a killer instinct that wins close games on the road. We play tight. Love this team. Still have high expectations, but we don’t have it… yet.
What is there to change, exactly? He can't make the guys become good at driving or shootingThe roster is great. It’s Hurley’s in game coaching that is costing us.
Four games in a row and he hasn’t changed one thing
It’s not. We don’t have bucket getters when the times get tough. Hawkins needs to run off 4 screens to get open because he can’t create for himself. None of our guards are at all effective in the half court. The roster is great. It’s Hurley’s in game coaching that is costing us.

I mean he made a pretty big change in playing Sanogo and Clingan together, and it wasn't even bad like I expected. The offense has just taken about 10 steps backThe roster is great. It’s Hurley’s in game coaching that is costing us.

Lol yeah absolve him from developing skills for the guys. What is there to change, exactly? He can't make the guys become good at driving or shooting
How about not playing Karaban when he gets abused on the defensive end? For one. And two. Playing Clingan as long as Clingan can stay on the floor. Three. Screaming at the guard for ball watching on defenseWhat is there to change, exactly? He can't make the guys become good at driving or shooting
He was specifically referring to in-game adjustments. Idk how many adjustments there are to be made if none of our guards can even dream of dribbling by a Big East defenderLol yeah absolve him from developing skills for the guys.
Hurley said pregame Hopkins was going to be a tough matchup for Karaban, which everyone knew would be a mismatch and then he stuck to that matchup for most of the game and let him drop 27. I don’t get it.The roster is great. It’s Hurley’s in game coaching that is costing us.

Agreed. That was good. But I pointed out a few other things. IMO our defense has gotten worse. We aren’t getting the Calls on offense and it’s allowing other teams to manhandle our guardsI mean he made a pretty big change in playing Sanogo and Clingan together, and it wasn't even bad like I expected. Gotcha. I agree. Sorry for the confusion. He was specifically referring to in-game adjustments. Idk how many adjustments there are to be made if none of our guards can even dream of dribbling by a Big East defender

I don’t know how big the sample size needs to be that Karaban can’t guard these type of players. How about not playing Karaban when he gets abused on the defensive end? For one. And two. Those for starters.
This was the glaring mishap imoHurley said pregame Hopkins was going to be a tough matchup for Karaban, which everyone knew would be a mismatch and then he stuck to that matchup for most of the game and let him drop 27. I don’t get it.
I don’t want to hear it anymore. That’s on the coach. They are fouling. They are getting petty ones and aren’t doing anything different.Doesn’t help when two teams in a row shoot 60 free throws and make over 50 of them
