A point guard is a distributor - his job is to run the offense and put the entire squad in position to score. Doesn't matter whether or not the ball touches his hands last before it goes into the bucket.
I feel like there's a lot of inherent bias in judgement of over teams' PGs based on our own history Just because Kemba, Bazz, and Boat were scoring PGs doesn't mean that they've redefined what being a collegiate point guard is.
Jesus you really are a stalker.
You are being generous
As far as London P is concerned, he has had some really good games this year and isn't what he represented today.
I had UVA in the final four BUT was afraid a more physical/athletic team who played their A game would upset UVA's strength - half court defense.
MSU just got too many runouts and transition hoops.
Not a big MSU fan but Izzo got them ready today and he's not in the HoF
I can't think of a single national champion in the last decade that started a point guard who wasn't averaging double figures.
So in the spirit of hyperbole you started -- you couldn't be more wrong. Just the last two seasons UVA has had proves that beyond disagreement. Ask a UVA fan about his contribution to the last two years --- they are all glad they have him.It doesn't matter what the level is, a point guard who can't score in 2015 is not valuable, particularly on a team that struggles to score.
The idea that pg's should be judged as "floor generals" is antiquated.
probably around 20, depending on how well he defends. he is clearly a better option than samuel who played 20 mpg somehowWould Perrantes play over or under 20 minutes a game for us this year?
