It seems like Tarris plays better in first halves and Reibe plays better when he gets more minutes. Logic would tell you to rest Reed more.
Tarris seems to play best at the 22-23 mpg clip.

Where did anyone say anything about taking losses to develop the bench. "Bumps in the road" don't equate to losses. Rotations tighten as you approach Tournament time but you still need bench productivity to survive and advance. Case in point-23 and 24 NC teams. Are Ross/Reibe/Stewart/Smith bench guys? Have they developed over the season with PT? If your point is regarding developing bench players other than them- No argument.
Of course bumps in the road equate to losses. That's literally how people use that phrase in sports. Except for you I guess.

Got it. Thought it was possible to have a bump in the road-Like during a game-Like tweaking bench rotations- And still win the game. Like Dan mentioned recently re: his bench mismanagement.

But your point is well-taken. Never equated it to always losing.

Smith has actually played decent the last few games but finally made some layups this game. Also, Smith was playing great in our OOC slate so not sure what you mean all year?
Even in the OOC when he was making important contributions, I didn't love his game. Always thought he dribbled too much, did not attack the rim and wasted too much clock on offense. His size severely limits his ability to defend, rebound and shoot in traffic. When he is wide open he can make threes with his AJAX push shot. But he has been so bad in BE play it distorts my memory of his good contributions prior. Maybe I am being too hard on him but when I watch him I just hold my breath.

.-.
Not to worry, I think a lot of people (Geno included LOL) may have some notes for you

Like I would actually care.

Geno can stuff it. I realize that when you make $6M a year, you like to think you’re above criticism, but that ain’t the way the world works - especially these days when the phone calls asking for help buying players for him, the men and football are basically non-stop.

If Geno doesn’t like that, he can either put on his big boy pants and get over it or he can give back the money and go coach CYO. Ditto for the Pom Pom brigade….you just are not serious people.
