I suppose - he picked up his dribble once that lead to freneticism. The rest was nice but didn’t see much that said, now that guy is our PG of the future.
He did but he got the pass to another player that then lead to a basket. He would of turned that ball over before.

I honestly thought that offensive rebound and put back by Jaylin was Tarris right when it happened. That was an incredible rebound, it looked like he had a bear mitt the way he swallowed it up.
And it was on a 2nd jump

Yes - that's actually exactly when the momentum changed. Our energy level picked up. AK isn't naturally emotional, but he was very flat today, like he's letting his shooting woes affect everything else. He had several opportunities to dive on a loose ball or give us a spark.
announcers never mentioned it

I think we have our 7.5 man rotation. Mahaney, Ross, Nowell can get their 1-2 minute test, and if they don't have it you play 7 like happened tonight. Ideally one of them is on every night but that's looking increasingly unlikely
We saw that last game. Mahaney and Ross only played 4 mins each. Truly feel Nowell played because Danny heard the noise. Going down the stretch, it’s a 7 man rotation unless we are desperate. Mahaney of the three will get a look and if he scores early will get minutes. Otherwise it’s 7 going forward.

Please. As great as Tarris was tonight, he is not a prototypical 5. To say Hurley got this wrong all season is idiotic. Does nova even have a player a legit 6’9? Tarris was awesome tonight but part of it was because it was a great matchup. Tarris has and will get two fouls almost instantly on guys taller than him.
Personally I can’t wait for next year. I think he and riebe complement each other perfectly.
It's college basketball, body and game wise he's perfectly suited to play the 5

Ugly-arse win…but we’ll take it!

All of you on the Tarris Stan train are hilarious. We have a 26-game sample to show that he’s just as likely to be a complete non-factor next game as he is to play like he did tonight. It is what it is. He was a crucial part for us getting a win we absolutely didn’t deserve tonight…we’ll take it but let’s see what happens next game. I’d love for him to stack great games the rest of the way, but won’t be surprised if brings a clunker to MSG.

JStew once again showed why he gets limited minutes. Came in and made an immediate horrible turnover.

Alex might as well have kept his warmup gear on. Mahaney was a disaster. Ross, too.

I’m honestly still in shock that we won this game.

Stewie had the worst turnover and best rebound/putbacknof the night. That perfectly encapsulates his season.
I think he just doesn't have the BB IQ, and I don't think it's coachable at this point. He reminds me of like a 6'3" 210 lb shortstop, who looks like a stud during infield before the game, but then the game starts and it just doesn't translate. He doesn't "see it" (like when he had that open lane when he first got in and made the unnecessary pass to Tarris that Tarris couldn't convert; that's an attempt at a "heady" play by someone who is trying too hard to be a smart (he's clearly trying his best), but like just dunk on your poorly positioned man and get a foul at the minimum there, I think by this point you either have the instincts or you don't)

Yeah agreed, it's been the case for awhile. Ross and Mahaney have basically not played the past month unless they had huge games

Reed needs to start going forward. Hurley will do that right ?
Honestly I think he should’ve been starting all season. Samson has certainly had some great games, but to me, he’s much better in that change of pace, energy big role off the bench.

Alex man, 6 for his last 47 from 3. I think Andrew Hurley could shoot better. It’s hitting a level of bad that is defying all odds.

When I saw Liam really fired up and rousing the crowd I thought "He's channeling Cam".
Then I saw Cam was there. Cam looked so wired up that it looked like he was vibrating. I must have been the mojo he was tuning in on. He's just got to be a coach when his playing days are over.

He's not losing these minutes to Donovan Clingan, he's losing them to friggin' Samson Johnson. Samson played 27-28 minutes to Reed's 4 last game until Samson had to go to the bench at the end because of fouls. It's on you if you don't see how crazy that is.
