Don't believe I've seen a woman do an alley-oop before, pretty impressive.
No, of course not. She missed the dunks in the last two rounds so that WCBB could be saved.Wait a minute...didn't she just ruin women's college basketball forever?

That's interesting that she missed any dunks - after watching her do those two alley-oops, I was thinking maybe the reason she did them was because she thought she might lose the ball on the way up if she tried a 'traditional' one-handed dunk.
BUT those first two in the video looked quite easy for her. She wasn't exactly exerting maximum effort to put those over the rim..... I think she doesn't have even 1% of the requisite showboat genes to try and really throw one down hard.
Thanks. Yes I care. Not that it will ever happen but can you imagine a tie game, or one point behind, with time running out, shot comes off the rim and Brianna goes up and throws it down right at the buzzer. Anyway, there is a time and place for most things in life. The dunk is no exception, especially when it isn't over done.http://www.newhavenregister.com/articles/2012/03/27/sports/doc4f71d3925a71a033392030.txt
She's obviously very athletic but does anybody care?
Amen bro.It won't ruin WBB forever, or even for a few minutes, but it does have the potential of making the game different if coaches start building in plays to accommodate dunking. I'm hoping that won't happen, that dunking, to the extent it is done, is random and strategic at the same time.
And to someone else's point, it's women's basketball, not men's. It is a different game, played differently, which is exactly what many of us like about it. To treat it otherwise is to suggest that if only they'd develop a little more, women would be just somewhat-anatomically-different men and would play the game the same way the men do now.
There are a few of us radicals who believe the men's game is not necessarily Basketball As It Was Meant To Be Played. If you enjoy it, knock yourself out, but that doesn't mean everyone has to.
She gives up 5 inches of height and 3 inches of wing span to greiner. That means her standing reach is about 6 inches less. Give her a year of Uconn's training and she will match greiner's dunking ability. She is more impressive that greiner.
When/if Breanna or Kiah go against Brittney, it may strongly resemble the epic 'David vs. Goliath' battle between UCLA's Sidney Wicks (6'7") vs. Jacksonville's Artis Gilmore (7'2") back in the day!
Hint: David wins again!
It's a short video, but you can advance to 1:20 to see the Wicks vs. Gilmore portion:
Huh?Dunking, in exhibition or in a game, is showboating. Using that leaping ability in a game is another story.
