It seems that there are a number of posters here who think that women players who have certain athletic skills (dunking), should give up those skills for the good of the women's college basketball game. Anything else you don't want them to do? BTW, Geno has said that for a player who can dunk, it's a more certain score than laying it up. Rather have my team lose the game than ruin the sport forever.

Impressive hops. She is going to be a terror to deal with, much like Griner. I hope she works on her dunking so that she can put on a show for the fans.

But watch this before you say that she is more impressive than Griner. This footage includes Griner throwing one off the backboard and going and dunking it. It also includes a 360 dunk.

Nice to see you're back. I was worried your outburst yesterday might keep you away. ;)

LOL. I'm not that easily discouraged. I come to this board because it is so knowledgeable and discusses so many quality topics. I enjoy this board more than any board I have been on. But I did feel that a lot of anti-Baylor sentiments were expressed that I simply had not seen before and was surprised to see. To me it was comparable to the way UT fans talk about UCONN on their board.

But, as was pointed out, this is a UCONN board, not a Baylor board. Point well taken.

I'm very excited to see Stewart arrive and anticipate seeing her be a "Game changer" not because she can dunk but for the same reason Britney is a force. Their ability to block shots in double digits nearly every game. People can enjoy and have fun with the dunks but it's that defensive intimidation that is worth it's weight in gold (IMO)

Right on. She might dunk a few times in her career and it will be fun to watch. But she will have over 200 blocks in her career and those are pure intimidation.
