USS LOS ANGELES (SSN 688)
Navigation/Operations/Aircraft Carrier BattleGroup Operations for Pacific Fleet Carriers & Submarines;
was onboard SUBBASE Point Loma on the OPCONN as the second airliner hit the Twin Towers in NYC - we got busy with our warfighters to engage those enemies around the world.....

USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72)
USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74)
USS CONSTELLATION (CV 64)
USS KITTYHAWK (CV 63)
USS NIMITZ (CVN 68),
with the USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) in the on-deck circle....
+ nine other submarines; if national interests were at stake, the Pac Fleet carriers had the lead!!!
