He left last year, but Carl Krauser and Chevy Troutman are still thereWait, Orlando Antigua isn't still playing for Pitt?
I can't remember Pitt without Krauser. He left last year, but Carl Krauser and Chevy Troutman are still there
Mid-season firing hints at something other than the lack of wins. Wasn't there some type of academic investigation underway?
I agree they have had a brutal season. At 6-7, they have a better record than we do......USF is brutal this year, maybe they sensed a Diaco ending. Everybody wants to hire the great recruiter, but a lot of guys are only as good as the coach/school they recruit for.
Antigua's problem wasn't his tutelage under Cal, it was the principles he tried putting in place from his days with the Globetrotters. How many technicals could the guy get before he realized you can't throw a bucket of confetti on the ref... and the other teams just didn't roll over for USF like the Generals.Cal's disciples don't work out too well. Barbee a couple stints which led to being an assistant again under him. Antigua no good and Kellogg is just lucky he's in his home state working 20 miles from his home town or else he'd been given the door. Your teams can't play like Cal's without Top 100 talent as he's proven.
Yes but they didn't have to survive the Wagner/Northeastern gauntlet.I agree they have had a brutal season. At 6-7, they have a better record than we do.

Nah, he's been playing in Europe for years.Troutman's weight is probably up around 420 by now.
