Sania named tournament MVP as she was the leading scorer (44 pts, +4 above next scorers), in the tournament. A very good case can be made that Harmoni Turner deserved MVP as well. She provided many clutch twos, including a buzzer beater to pull out a victory yesterday against Spain in pool play.

Meanwhile, the men came up short losing to Germany in the final.

Pretty impressive the point differential between A’ja and the #2 scorer (Arike), despite playing just shy of 200 minutes less.

Also, an update on A’ja’s race for most rebounds all time in a season w/ 2 games remaining (had to throw in #3 since she was there):

This young woman is such a light, and we are beyond fortunate to have her represent this great program.

Full schedule released. Coppin State as the annual HBCU opponent is the last addition plus Clayton St as second exhibition opponent.

Just waiting on the TV schedule now.

Oklahoma(h) - LSU(h) - Tennessee(r) back to back to back

UCLA(r) and Oklahoma State(n) back to back for Thanksgiving week!

For the non-conference:

7 home games, 4 neutral and 3 road games. @Clemson, UCLA, TCU.

Not a premier home schedule out of conference, just Duke and UConn being juicy.

The home stretch of Texas, LSU, Oklahoma may well decide the SEC title.

Do have to travel to Texas, Tennessee and Ole Miss. plus bugaboo Missouri.

Wow. Lauren Jacobs the local point guard From south Carolina sis committed to the Ole Miss basketball program 2025 is a recruiting. I do not understand this but in 2017 it was a similar situation where it seemed like we got no recruits.
2015 was the biggest disaster only being able to pull in Shay Colley who quickly transferred out around Christmas. We got recruits in 2017 but they weren’t exactly difference makers and 3 of the 4 transferred leaving only Lele staying to be a solid contributor. 2020 could have been a disaster of a class like 2015 getting only Eniya, but Dawn rectified that by getting 2020 classers Cardoso and Pao Pao as transfers.

It's always interesting to see reactions from people in Canada when I tell them Colley was the first Canadian who was recruited to South Carolina during the Staley era (to my knowledge). Everyone assumes Staley only started paying attention to Canadian athletes when Amihere started to catch the attention of programs.

I’m confused. Is this really the same Adhel Tac that we saw in the Spring?

Yes. Why would it not be her? She was very much a free spirit in all the videos from last year and, based on this video, her personality seems to have blossomed this year. :p

Size
Looks about right to me. She is officially the tallest player on the team at 6'5". She is shorter than Cardoso but taller than Boston. Her afro probably adds to her height, making her look even taller.

I was referring to bulk which can be a good thing going up against centers for Oklahoma and Iowa State
