USA Basketball 3x3

Utah has figured it out leading Tennessee 16-8 with 3 minutes to go.

I dont know why Tennessee's bigs are shooting 3's??????

This was the MOST frustrating game to watch!!!! Utah wins 20-15.

Utah needed 2 points to win and in the last 2 minutes kept jacking up 3's (count as 2) instead of just going for 1 pt twice!!!

Tennessee bigs Hollingshead and Striplin were just shooting outside shots instead of taking the ball inside. Johnson is 6'2 and Pili might be 6'0. The Lady Vols had 6'6 and 6'3. Didn't make any sense to me!

I was ready to turn off the TV.

As expected Villanova beats Colorado College easily 21-6.

Lots of student support for the Colorado College team as the games are at their campus.

Ole Miss beats Maryland 21-18 to finish pool play at 3-0. Ole Miss is just athletic and all 4 players can score which makes a difference.

Media timeout and UCLA leads St John’s 14-4. Best game UCLA has played.

Not sure how this bracket will play out if UCLA wins because 3 teams will be 1-2

Londynn Jones with 10 of UCLAs 20!

Fran Fraschilla was a guest commentator and he was very knowledgeable on the women’s side. Brought up history of women’s game, finally mentioned Kara Lawson and Duke, Courtney Vandersloot. Very entertaining. He kept the announcers in the women’s lane.

Also talked about 3x3 rules and how when a shot goes up everyone should crash the glass because there is no need to get back on defense.

Fraschilla also mentioned how college teams put these 3x3 groups together in hopes of developing talent and chemistry.
