Upset alert?

Good Lord has Cooks regressed. She was Michigan State’ s leading scorer and rebounder a few years ago when UCONN played them.

I don't see 7 or 8 SEC teams getting into the Dance this year like Charlie has projected this year. Same with the ACC.

Something really must be said on this occasion.

It became a favored pastime for the wannabe elitists of the so-called power-5 conferences to pour scorn upon UConn's conference affiliation during its 7-year undefeated streak in the AAC.

But here's the fact: Not a single other team in the country would've run the table in the AAC for 7 straight years. No other program would've been able to summon enough unfailing consistency to beat a team like USF 2 or 3 times, every season, year in and year out. Mississippi State just went down in flames, and Baylor had all it could handle. Contrast that to how UConn very rarely (maybe only once?) won by fewer than 20 points over USF in the 15+ times they played as AAC rivals.

Well done, South Florida Bulls!

This season kind of already reminds me of the 2002-03 women's basketball season. It's anybody's ball game!

No, MSU is just not very good.

I think it is this. A team with a 3/21 A/TO ratio and 33% shooting wont win many games. Im not at all convinced McCray can keep Mississippi State at the same high level Vic did.

Jose has learned how to keep most games close. They play hard, gritty, and tough while milking the clock. Not an easy team to play against at all regardless if you come in with a talent advantage.
