Final 77-71. Temple(Welcome to the Big East!) had 20 plus turnovers and still managed to cut a 10 point deficit to two late but just couldn't get over the hump.

GO HUSKIES!!! TIME TO GO DANCIN!!!

Clearly, Temple is overrated. Imagine how many turnovers they will have in a Big East game!

Unless Saint Louis wins out, someone's bubble just popped.

Luckily, I'm not worried about it being ours.

Lunardi has UConn as #31 on the S curve. Kind of crazy they're in such good shape.

ALL CAPS: Regular-season champion (NIT auto-bid if needed) or highest remaining seed
Bold: NCAA automatic qualifier
GREEN: Teams with tourney odds of 90 percent or better through games of March 8.
YELLOW: "Last four in" (will play March 13-14 in Dayton, Ohio)
GOLD: Lowest four auto-bids (will play March 13-14 in Dayton, Ohio)
RED: "First four out" (teams 69-72 on the S curve)
PURPLE: "Next four out" (teams 73-76 on the S curve)

The Full S-curve

*conference leader (teams)
1-KENTUCKY 2-SYRACUSE 3-KANSAS 4-NO. CAROLINA
8-Missouri 7-Ohio State 6-MICHIGAN ST. 5-Duke
9-Baylor 10-Michigan 11-Marquette 12-Georgetown
16-Wichita State 15-Florida State 14-Wisconsin 13-Indiana
17-Louisville 18-Unlv 19-TEMPLE 20-Florida
24-Creighton 23-Murray State 22-Vanderbilt 21-Notre Dame
25-SAN DIEGO ST. 26-Saint Mary's 27-Gonzaga 28-New Mexico
32-Kansas State 31-Connecticut 30-Cincinnati 29-MEMPHIS
33-Iowa State 34-Purdue 35-Alabama 36-Virginia
40-West Virginia 39-CALIFORNIA 38-Saint Louis 37-Southern Miss
41-Harvard 42-Colorado St. 43-Brigham Young 44-VCU
48-Xavier 47-Texas 46-South Florida 45-LONG BEACH
49-Washington 50-Mississippi St. 51-Seton Hall 52-Drexel
56-Davidson 55-Belmont 54-So Dakota St 53-NEVADA
57-AKRON 58-Montana 59-Loyola-MD 60-Lehigh
64-STONY BROOK 63-UNC Asheville 62-Long Island 61-Detroit
65-MISS. VALLEY 66-LAMAR 67-NORFOLK ST. 68-W. Kentucky
72-Miami 71-NC State 70-Northwestern 69-Tennessee
73-Iona 74-Arizona 75-Saint Joseph's 76-Oregon

Add the current AQs to the "solid" at-large candidates (current tournament odds at 90 percent or better), and there are now 49 teams in the field. Add in the remaining automatic qualifiers yet to be decided, and that's eight more spots. All told, 57 of the 68 spots are accounted for, with 11 still up for grabs among current "bubble" teams.

The bubble (22 teams for 11 spots)

IN (11, in S-curve order):
38-Saint Louis, 40-West Virginia, 42-Colorado St., 44-South Florida, 45-BYU, 47-Texas, 48-Xavier, 49-Washington, 50-Mississippi St., 51-Drexel, 52-Seton Hall

OUT (11, in S-curve order)
69-Tennessee, 70-Oregon, 71-Northwestern, 72-NC State, 73-Miami, 74-Iona, 75-Arizona, 76-Saint Joseph's, 77-Dayton, 78-Marshall, 79-Ole Miss

Clearly, you are a moron and don't know that good basketball is also played outside the Big East. Exactly how many times have you seen Temple or Umass play this year? Temple has hung in the top 25 all year and was never considered a bubble team. It's not like Temple started the year #4 and dropped off the map in January. Sorry the rest of your fan base had to hear that but you needed to. I highly doubt that Duke thinks Temple is overrated. Nuff said, dumba$$!

Geez I try to be nice below and you forget where you are? C'mon Clothy maniac has a right to express his opinion of the A10 here since he is a Husky fan right? I mean try to compare the leagues all you want but the Bonnies ain't making a semi in the BE no way no how......your buys are a little better and while I doubt they could, they did beat a pretty decent basketball team today for sure....relax have fun, should get to the final I would think! The road is paved.............

Mauconnfan, I have been pretty well behaved here this year. That tool deserved that regardless of who he roots for. Sorry again about the off the map crack. I know BE is a better conference and Uconn is good and deserving of their at large. Good luck to you and hope to join you in the dance. Two more to go!

Clearly, Umass, John Calipari and Kentucky live in this guys head. He surfaces anytime they are mentioned. Me, I will surface when my team is mentioned. Big difference! One Umass fan and one obsessed lunatic. He hates the fact that we just beat a projected 4 seed so he calls them overrated.

Hats off to the Bonnies. They were the better team today. No excuses here. Good luck and maybe you'll have another good run. I think I'll have a strong drink!

Same ol' UMass. I guess they will have to wait another year to dictate terms.

Hope is on the horizon for UMess. Soon, they'll be playing in either the NEC or other tough outs such as Eastern Michigan. No more Rhody, or St. Bonnies' champions to pad the end of season record. Bring back Bruiser, he was funnier.

Boy, does the word "hate" get overused when the topic of UConn is brought up.
One poster got it right when he said most "uconnfans" don't think about UMass at all.
He didn't refer to us as "UConn fans" however. The reference to us was a bit, ummm, derogatory, to say the least. Charming group, a few years ago they had a 50 page hate UConn thread.

Oh, come on with the 50 page thread. Number 1, Uconn is a national power right in our backyard. Number 2, Uconn gave alot of fans, not just Umass, plenty to talk about. Number 3, Umass gave something for you to talk about that wasn't negative at all until the moron joined the conversation. Not to mention, the guy with the NEC comment. Nope, that would never happen. Maybe Fordam, maybe URI but not Umass.
