Final 77-71. Temple(Welcome to the Big East!) had 20 plus turnovers and still managed to cut a 10 point deficit to two late but just couldn't get over the hump.

Temple has hung in the top 25 all year and was never considered a bubble team. It's not like Temple started the year #4 and dropped off the map in January. He didn't refer to us as "UConn fans" however. The reference to us was a bit, ummm, derogatory, to say the least. Charming group, a few years ago they had a 50 page hate UConn thread.
