It is tough sledding for big men breaking into the league because everyone wants big men that can shoot 35% plus from 3 and they want someone who can defend rim.
A player like Sanogo that can shoot 65% from 2 point range isn’t really sought after anymore.
60% from 2pt is equivalent to 40% from 3pt. I would love to see an nba buck the trend and build a team around running good offense and trying to hit high percentage 2pt shots.
One team has success with something and the every other team copies them for the next 5 years. That is why I like college basketball much better than NBA. There is a lot more variety of play styles, and every year different things work.
