I have us struggling early in Big East play and then going on a big run to end the year (13-2 to finish Big East play).
23-8 overall, 15-5 BE. Random loss at Butler, because Matta and Hinkie magic. I have us sweeping Seton Hall, but wouldn't be surprised if we lose one of those.

We lost a lot of toughness in Tyrese + RJ. Who fills that void? Last year you always knew we’d scrap back if we fell behind.

A lot of new pieces this year that are complimentary on paper but it will take some time. Hurley NEEDS to let Karaban/Johnson play through their mistakes. I’ve grown more optimistic in recent weeks. I’d say our ceiling is 3 seed and the floor is 8 seed.

Hurley said he's going to do that. We'll see.

Hurley said Johnson will be allowed to play through mistakes, particularly in early-season non-conference games. The hope is that, come New Year’s and the thick of Big East play, the Huskies will have a fluid and consistent player in Johnson, who is intriguing for skills both near the basket and on the perimeter. He has a 7-5 wingspan and a variety of tools.

You're a realist. I like it. Being a fan doesn't mean thinking your team is better than they really are. There should be no guilt in admitting some bumps in the road in a team that is 1/2 new blood. I second your 22-9, With a big unexpected W somewhere and a few losses that will melt the yard.
