UConn vs Yale Game Thread???

It's Yale. They are taking advantage of what's there. No need for anyone to get aggressive here. I like watching Shabazz and DD hang back to facilitate things for the new players.

Nolan showed some back to the basket moves.

I disagree with every thing you said here. we play consistently, no matter who we are playing. We bring our games night in and night out.

BTW, DD is facilitating, you mean, from the bench?

Nothing should have been called there, but if it HAD to be it should have been an intentional

One big advantage to soccer is the "play the advantage" judgment.

Gary Apple really pushing this 17-point deficit thing. UConn, though, might be slightly better than Central.

Boatwright, this guys makes incredible moves to set himself up for some easy shots, but just like previous years he cannot finish. He misses more easy shots than I can count. If he ever starts knocking some of these down, wow another weapon. Not optomistic at this point after 2+ years.

Check out his minutes in the first half and then tell me he was on the bench. He was out there. He was setting picks. No one said you shouldn't play hard. I said no need to get aggressive and take risks.

Lol brimah is so big he gets in the way of ryan and shabazz often...love this dude he alters so many shots

Bennie is one of the top recruits in the country, hope he comes to UConn.

For a team that supposedly practices rebounding non-stop, UConn is really incompetent at rebounding.

And I'm not sure why DeAndre insists on spending the majority of his time on offense outside the paint.

NO disrespect to you as you are frequent contributor here, but sir, your argument continues to make no sense.

If DD cannot get off on a "Yale" team as you are so eloquently put it in such a obvious way. Then what?

Bazz's basketball IQ is a notch above other players on the court.
His PG skills aside, his knack for rebounding is uncanny...

Did you see he sneaked in and stole the rebound off the free throw?

That was some horrendous defense.

Zero hustle in the last 90 seconds.

Someone teach Ollie how to call a timeout because he appears not to know.

I didn't write that. If you're going to respond, respond to something I wrote.

Shabazz appears to be actively pursuing a triple double.

They stopped playing with 15 minutes left.

I am at work and can't see the game but that would be completely unacceptable seeing A. What happened Friday and B. We allegedly have 10 guys fighting tooth and nail for PT.

Pretty low energy out there and to some extent its understandable, but I'd like to see the killer instinct and some rebounding.

I am a critic of Boatright from the last game, but he surprised me that he found the other ways to impact the game, and impose his wills.

We are up 20 and have reasons to complain....good sign of the talent level but we absolutely need to find rebounding somewhere.
