Really? I coulda sworn Collier had at least 2 buckets in the paint and Williams got an O board and put back just before halftime.

5 to 5 "baskets" for both teams

When UConn played them in January it was 17-12 baskets in the paint for UConn.

I wouldn't call it gutless. Its a good game strategy for a team like UCF against UConn.

The game is now a chess match. How you move your pieces is very important. Geno and company will make the adjustments.

Doesn't strike me as basketball. Hold the ball for 28 seconds and hope you make a shot as time expires. If not, at least you make the game much shorter. There's a reason the shot clock was instituted in the first place: to prevent this kind of thing.

Kia really looking physically handicapped with the ankle. Wish they would just sit her rest of this game and tmo. don't need reinjury as ankle obviously not healed yet.

UConn is settling for too many jump shots.
Possibly because they are packing it in to prevent Pheesh and Gabby entry passes. They are daring us to shoot open 3s been tried before we just need to make several to make them come out to guard us.

Give UCF credit where credit is due. They've made Collier work hard to get position inside and they've played tough on the perimeter. A good, scrappy performance by this team. So far UConn's superior talent is winning out. And of course, Lou on the outside and Crystal Dangerfield on the inside.

Most 3-point FGs in a single season at UConn:

1. Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, 121 in 2014-15
2. Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, 118 in 2012-13
3. Wendy Davis, 107 in 1991-92
4. Katie Lou Samuelson, 100 (and counting) in 2016-17

One thing we've missed is Kia on runouts. Glad to see them here.

Man, you'd a-hated Dean Smith's Carolina 4-Corners, back in the old days.

The question is can UCF continue to shoot so well and can they continue to expend so much energy on offense and defense?

Lousy call IMO on Lou's third foul, but I don't think that's a gamble worth taking when you have two already.

Meanwhile, the consecutive free throw streak ends at 31. (Media guide doesn't list a team record in that department)

Geno is the best in the business for half time adjustment. Makes it easier to relax and enjoy the games.

They are shooting 32.4% as a team so they are not exactly lighting it up.
